Hiya! Another week... and we've CRUSHED the first funding milestone for WLCW! Nearly at 85k now with over a month to go! We've got alot in store for you backers and hopefully we'll finish up a ton of new stuff before the campaign's over!

Now then, for whatever reason, Backerkit isn't really too good for "video" updates,  and I need to look into having proper embeds or maybe a Drive that'll play back video on this format, buuuuut we have a new 10 second teaser of Episode One now up as a YT Short.

Here are some screenshots from upcoming animations, teasers, and bits of stuff that we REALLY wanted to get done sooner than later, but they'll just need a bit more time to refine. We've been aiming for a middle ground between "quality" and "getting these out there before I die", you know, typical animation production struggles.

Hello everyone! I'm REALLY happy to announce we've hit the first 75k STRETCH GOAL for We Love Cold War Season One!! That means EVERYBODY will be getting expanded WLCW shorts in the coming year!
(watch out for: The British, Warsaw Pact, a few new Yvette et Josie shorts, Gay Bomb, and The UN)

But there is ONE thing we do have to inform you guys of today:
The hand-signed illustration bonus item, the "Shikishi" tier offered as a $350 add-on + $500 tier reward is now sold out.

With a over a month left on the campaign, we DID want to offer some of the die-hard fans something more concrete in terms of rewards, so we've thought about it, ran the numbers, and we are offering a FREE UPGRADE to all backers who've pledged $500 & up for an "ATOMIC BRIEFCASE" set!

This is included, as a free upgrade, to everybody who backed the $500 tiers & above, & is now available w/o shikishi, to any new backers who pledge $400. You also get all of the previous rewards.

Shikishi's are still available as part of the END OF HISTORY tier, there's been an astonishing amount of you guys who've actually backed that tier.

But understandably, doing any more than 50 hand-drawn illustrations might be physically impossible so we had to put a hard cap to how we could sell, we didn't expect so many of y'all to actually go for that tier SO, we've come up with this nice little thing instead!

All backers who had gotten the ATOMIC WARRIOR tier, will be getting their shikishi's, however for all new backers, any new shikishi's are now limited to the END OF HISTORY backers.

There's been ALOT of really cool stuff we've been working on, we're gonna try to polish them up and release 'em as teasers quite soon, but keep an eye out, and stay tuned for more We Love Cold War!!

Took just under a week, but it's been done! WLCW's Pilot is officially FUNDED!

THANK YOU!! to the 383 backers who made it possible! I'm genuinely a bit shocked as to how many people backed the higher tiers, but I'm glad there seems to be a dedicated audience who really wants to see this series get made. I want to do this series justice, and you guys really made it possible.

For anybody who backed the End of History tier, we'll be reaching out to y'all once the campaign ends, but tentatively we are aiming for a February 2027 screening date. While artbooks and Blu-Rays will likely ship out in Spring 2027. Digital rewards including the artbook draft and of course, the animations, are to fulfilled in December 2026 to January 2027. Any delays to this schedule will be communicated ahead of time.

As for people who've already backed, you will be charged when the campaign ends on July 11th, so that MIGHT be a while but make sure your payment methods are all up to date so the pledges don't fall through.

We've also been working really hard on a couple of new teasers and promo for Season 1, unfortunately things have been delayed a bit just because I underestimated just how hard it would be to rush out more promo for the series on short notice, but now that we're funded, we're gonna be aiming for those stretch goals!

We've still got 42 days left to go to hit those stretch goals, I'm still planning a ton of stuff that's being worked on until the last stretch, July 4th is when we plan to have the first part of the Pilot done and ready to go, but we're also aiming to finish a couple of character reveals and VA reveals before then. Likewise, we're trying to keep a brisk pace and not burn out too hard, so please stay tuned! And thank you for supporting We Love Cold War!!

Hello! Wow, not even 36 hours out and we're SIXTY PERCENT the way to the 55k funding goal for WLCW Season One!! This is gonna be a long campaign, and this is just the beginning, I'm still working on a ton of new stuff that I want to get done before the Campaign is over. (including the release of part one of the Pilot on July 4th...)

Please stay tuned for a few more new updates in the coming days and weeks. We've got a few VA reveals lined up and shorts that we're still crunching to get done soon. All hopefully to be released soon!

Also a few backers had issues with the Discord links, it was a late addition for just the lowest tier but unfortunately it didn't automatically add to the higher tiers so an invite link is gonna be available below here for backers only.
