WLCW Update October 10th - Surveys Soon
I don't really have anything to say other than that progress has stabilized.
The Pilot is scheduled for April 2027, we are trying to finish a new WLCW Short to come out on Halloween, new merchandise orders will open in November/December, updates continue.
Backer rewards are to be fulfilled post-Pilot completion and before E02/E03's completion around mid-2027.
This was made clear in the pre-campaign that rewards would be around 2027, I considered if we should expedite fulfilling rewards to Winter 2026/27, however after a discussion with the current warehouse manager, we decided it would be best to focus our full efforts on finishing the animation first rather than focusing on short-term reward fulfillment. We aim to finish the Blu-Ray/VHS tapes and ship them in mid-2027.
Backerkit surveys will also be sent out to collect the "Name-in-Credits" tier + requests for Shikishis, basically as soon as Backerkit approves the surveys because I'm still waiting on them to approve it unfortunately, sorry for the delays, thanks to everyone for their continued patience and support of the project.

WLCW October Update - ALOT OF NEW S***!! 500 Character Sheets!
Hi ! Nico here, got a huge update for all you supporters of "We Love Cold War!!"
We're reaching final completion of the design sheets / pre-production for Season One, not much to say, but take a look!

WLCW Update - Sept 26th
Hiya, another update! Well, actually 3 days since the last one, but I'm trying to reset things to be a weekly Saturday post instead...
Production is going well, Right now, the WLCW Artbook and Physical Goods are scheduled to be ready by December 2026 (w/ a soft launch at Winter Comiket 109), the home video rewards we are aiming to have ready by mid-2027. (these are estimates).
A survey will be sent out in the next 2 weeks to ask if people would like to have their physical goods earlier (in two separately paid shipments since we don't expect the Pilot Episode to be finished until 2027.) + options for the 60 signed shikishi drawings we have to fulfill.
Also, we've recently dealt with harassment from a user who was unhappy with progress due to the shifting timeline estimates, but I did want to put out a formal statement on this.
I do offer "no questions asked" refunds, for any reason, if you are unhappy with the level of transparency & communication that I'm offering with the Patreon + Backerkit campaign.
Just message me or email me directly at [email protected], and I can get it sorted. If you have any concerns about the project timelines or how funds are being spent, I am open to a mutually respectful dialogue because people have put their trust in me to deliver this project.
I thank everyone for their level of continued patience and support in the project.
