Project Update: Don't forget to claim your items for holiday shipping!
Hello, everyone!
All of the BackerKit surveys are complete, and about half of you have successfully claimed your items on our website and they are either in your hands already or winging their way toward you as we speak.
There are still two of you who indicated you'd like your items by 12/25 but have not yet claimed them and paid shipping on our website. Don't forget to complete this critical step by following the instructions here! These orders contain only items from our local warehouse so there's still time, but if you still want them by 12/25 I do need to get them shipped out by next Thursday, December 18, at the latest.
Side note: of those two folks I just mentioned, I emailed one of you directly last week because I saw your order in your cart but not completed—just wanted to make sure you saw that email and were aware that your order was not finalized. You need to go fully through the checkout process to pay your shipping, and you'll receive an email confirmation when you've done so. No confirmation email, no order. Reach out to me via the contact form on our site if you have any questions or problems!
For those of you who said you didn't need your stuff for the holidays—if you were holding off claiming your items to give me a chance to prioritize the holiday folks, you're welcome to claim whenever you like. I'm shipping same business day on most days right now for anything that comes in by 2pm CST or so.
I know a couple of you also have unclaimed items from our original Kickstarter and may be waiting for the book to be complete before claiming them. That continues to be totally fine! Your Holiday Boutique items will remain in your account ready to claim for at least one full year.

Project Update: Be sure to finish the final step and pay for shipping!

For anyone who has completed your survey, you should have received notifications through a couple different channels (a BackerKit notification and a direct email with the subject line "Divination RPG: New rewards available!") that you have things ready to claim in our online store.
This information is also in those notifications, but you can see detailed instructions on how to claim your rewards on our website. There are screenshots and instructions, but also a video at the top of the page that I HIGHLY recommend you take a couple minutes to watch, especially if you have items like t-shirts or mugs that will require you to choose options.
If you have any trouble claiming your rewards, send me a message through the contact form on our website.

Project Update: Surveys are winging their way to your inboxes!
Hello friends!
As of about 30 seconds ago I have pushed the button to send the surveys. Hooray! They wanted me to do the good ol' "smoke test" first which sends surveys to a small portion of your backers, but that was literally only going to go to three people with this small campaign. 😂 So I hit GO and made all y'all the smoke test!
Please note that these are set to AUTO LOCK AND CHARGE which means that as soon as you finish your survey, everything will be locked down and you will be charged immediately for any additional amount owed (sales tax, further add-ons, etc).
A couple things to note:

A couple things to note:
- The survey is very much a (necessary) formality. You will NOT make any of your choices about options here (like shirt colors and sizes, mug Aspect and layout, etc). You will make those on our website. This is just a required BackerKit step where I can collect your shipping addresses and, if you live in Illinois, your sales tax. (Sorry, the downside of sharing a state with me!)
- A couple of you are returning backers from our original Kickstarter who still have unclaimed items from the original campaign in your accounts on our website. Once we get to the fulfillment step later this week, you'll see your items from the Holiday Boutique AND your unclaimed items from the campaign. Just like before, you will be able to fulfill part, all, or none of your items at this time (for example, if you are holding off until the books are finished in order to only pay shipping once for everything.
The survey should be quick and easy—it's basically just a series of "yes, I understand" things for you to check off, and then a chance to add more add-ons and the collection of sales tax for you Illinois folks.
I'll do imports into our website about once a day, so you won't have to wait until everyone has done the survey to start fulfillment. So, some of you could be finalizing your orders on our website as early as tomorrow—stay tuned!

Thank you so much for participating in the Divination Holiday Boutique as part of BackerKit's first ever Holiday Market! This is just a quick heads up about what to expect next.
You should have already received (or will very shortly) a message from BackerKit confirming that the event has ended and that they'll be charging your card soon. I should start getting reports shortly about which cards have gone through and whether any have issues to resolve. Keep in mind that ours was one of over 160 Holiday Market projects, all of which ended at the same time today, so it may take a bit of time for all the cards to get processed!
After cards go through, I'll send out your survey and details about how to claim your rewards. If your card has any issues, I'll reach out to you directly to help get that resolved ASAP.
