June Update 🌙
Hello one and all, can you believe it's June already?
Well I can't. I'm pretty sure it's meant to be March still. Anyway.
First up, bird news 🦅
I've been doing a 9 week Bird Language course, and this week was week 4. It's been great to slowly learn the tools that open the world of birds and what they know. One thing we learned was the 5 main types of bird calls, including the 'aerial alarm' for when there is a flying predator.
We'd just learned this when I went on a mushroom walk and heard a raucous uproar from some cockatoos up a tree. I thought, 'hmm, that sounds like an aerial alarm', so I looked up and - lo and behold, a hawk flew by! I would have totally missed it if I didn't know what the cockatoos were saying. I felt very cool 😎

May Update 📅
Hey everyone!
It's been 3 weeks since we successfully funded, so I figured it was time for the first monthly update.
First up, the Magpies have been loving the birdbath my partner and I put in the back yard. They really go for it! It's very heartwarming to see them enjoying a little 'swim'. I know we have ~10 other bird species that live here or pass by, but I've never seen them in the bird bath. How interesting...
Now, onto campaign updates. Here's what's new:
📝 Backer surveys have been sent. Please fill yours out if you haven't already!
💰 Backerkit has released funds. I can pay Imani for their editing work, yay!
🎙️ Imani is hard at work editing away. I'm so keen to hear their cut!
Ok, that's about all.

🎉 We're fully funded!! 🎉
Holy guacamole folks, we've done it!
Lyrical Ludology Season 2 is now officially funded. This means, I can confidently say that season 2 will come to your ears this year. 🤩🤩
What happens next? I will keep this crowdfund open so that people can continue to be part of making this project happen, and any further funds will go towards backpaying the unpaid work of season 1. Once the crowdfund is complete, Imani will begin editing, I'll add the gender horoscopes and upload to Red Circle, and away we go!
I must say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who pledged, reposted, shared, listened, and showed your support in so many ways. This season would not be possible without you. Long live the indies! 🎉

24 hours in... and 50% funded!
Hey everyone,
Last night a Butcherbird sang in my backyard, trilling atypically in a way that sounded like singing rather than calling out to a fellow Butcherbird. It was beautiful to hear familiar notes rearranged... 🎶
Thank you all for a great first day of the Lyrical Ludology Season 2 crowdfund.
I am pleasantly surprised not only that we're halfway to our goal, but also by just how popular the Gender Wizard tier is!
For those watching along, being 50% funded just 1 day in bodes really well for the success of the campaign. That being said, please keep sharing / reposting / telling friends about the campaign to make sure we get it over the line.
