If you earned the collector's coin as a pre-launch reserver, it's already yours, but it won't appear in your pledge during the campaign. That's expected and applies to both digital and physical tiers. Your coin will show up in the pledge manager survey after the campaign ends, where you'll confirm your order. If you're a digital backer, shipping for the coin will also be collected in the pledge manager, so you don't need to do anything right now. You don't need to buy the $10 coin add-on to receive your reserver coin. The add-on is a separate item for anyone who wants additional coins, or for backers who didn't reserve and would like one. If you reserved but haven't pledged yet, your coin is waiting for you. Just back the campaign at any tier and you'll see it in the pledge manager later. Any future news about the coin will be posted in our campaign updates, so that's the best place to check first.

If you're one of our first 900 backers, thank you! Your Thief Gold Steam key will be sent out after the campaign ends. We don't have an exact date just yet, but we're working closely with BackerKit to get keys into your hands as quickly as possible once the campaign wraps up. Yes, this project is fully faithful to Thief canon and lore. Eidos-Montreal's Thief Franchise Team has been directly involved from the outset, overseeing all story and canon decisions, and a fan consultant has been part of the process from day one to ensure the community's voice is represented. This is Garrett's story, told as a new adventure set between the first and second games, bridging directly into the events of Thief II: The Metal Age without disrupting established canon.

We're targeting Q3 2027 for fulfillment. As with any crowdfunding project, we can't guarantee an exact date; unforeseen delays are sometimes part of the process and not always within our control. That said, we're already deep into development, which puts us in a strong position to move efficiently. We're also structuring fulfillment differently than before. We're partnering with BackerKit's pledge manager, and we're in active conversations with dedicated fulfillment specialists to handle logistics, rather than managing it in-house. Our goal is a smooth, well-supported process from funding to your doorstep, and we'll keep you updated along the way.

Our first 900 backers will receive a Steam key for Thief Gold, and our first 2,500 backers will receive digital wallpapers for Thief: The Dark Project Remastered. Both will be sent out after the campaign ends. We don't have a specific date yet, but we're working with BackerKit to make sure these go out as soon as possible, and we'll share updates as we get closer.

Yes, we'll be working with a new fulfillment partner to handle shipping worldwide. In certain regions, delivery may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, such as conflict or political instability. Should this occur, we'll notify affected backers directly to help resolve the situation.

All international shipments are subject to local duties and taxes through your local customs office. Taxes and duties are not included in the payment/shipping through BackerKit.

Any customers ordering from Russia or Brazil should expect additional information to be requested prior to shipment, and may be subject to additional shipping charges.

We will definitely sign items included in specific tiers that offer signed copies. Unfortunately it's not feasible to sign items from unsigned tiers.

Once production begins, we’re unable to offer refunds, as manufacturing costs and other non-recoverable fees will have already been paid. Thank you for your understanding.

BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
