The seven nations of Everend maintain peace after centuries of struggle - a peace now rapidly deteriorating. In an explosive demonstration of power, one nation shattered reality by calling forth daemons from the Void. Now, all nations rush to gain daemonic magic for themselves. The Void spills through gates and collides with Gaia's magic, creating Void-tainted landscapes that transform the wildlife inside into ravenous beasts that rove across Everend. Meanwhile, the common folk go about their daily lives fearing the brutality of war and the deamons' incomprehensible power.

This is the first version of At the Gates to be released. The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
