Project Update: FULLY FUNDED πππ
SHOUTING because we DID IT!!
We:
We:
- hit all our funding goals for this anthology
- funded to the tune of 220% of the initial goal
- tripled author payouts
- secured basic funding for a further two anthologies
- did all this from scratch with a marketing budget of $0 and a dream
A round of applause for everyone who submitted, shared, backed, hyped and otherwise got involved. This would have been both impossible and pointless without you.
Those of you who backed for a digital edition: thank you, and you should have it! If you have any issues with accessing or using your digital files, don't hesitate to get in touch.
Those of you who backed for a physical edition: thank you, and look out for a BackerKit survey (these are the magic words for benevolent BackerKit overlords review, apparently) as soon as they let me send one to confirm mailing addresses etc.
The next anthology theme as voted for by backers + tumblr followers will be The Deep. Submissions will open in November so a) get your thinking snorkels on and b) follow the press blog for updates.
Okay love you bye,
Cecil
