Created by David and Willow Volante, founders of Volante Design, ours is a story of resistance. For years, we've created clothing inspired by iconic sci-fi heroes and futuristic rebels. We believe a story can spark change. A small flicker of hope is enough to move forward and set our eyes on the stars.

As co-founder of Volante Design, Willow has honed her craft by turning iconic franchises into wearable stories. Willow focuses on making stories relatable and fun—she enjoys building plots and writing dialogue that feels real. For this comic, Willow is excited to share a new adventure and hopes readers will see a bit of themselves in the characters.
David Volante was the architect behind Volante Design's products, and now he is carrying that forward with Outwrld. With a keen eye for detail and a background in design, David specializes in building layered, believable settings that ground every story. As co-founder of Volante Design, he's brought to life the aesthetics of beloved franchises and now channels that expertise into building the environments, cultures, and histories that make this comic's universe feel real and lived-in.
Sasha E Head is a multidisciplinary graphic designer working in games and comics. Focusing primarily on lovingly crafted worldbuilding projects, she specializes in branding, print design & production, and visual development. You can find her star maps and typographical adventures in both AAA & indie games, creator-owned comics, and passion projects across the multiverse.
Syro is a freelance comics artist, 2d illustrator, and concept artist from the Republic of Sakha. She has worked on multiple comic projects as an inker and colorist, and creates artwork for small artbooks and video games.

While the original studio chapter has closed, that same fifteen-year DNA underpins Outwrld. We are taking everything we learned from designing for other people's universes and applying it to our own.

End of January 2027 (Backer Fulfillment): We estimate that we'll ship all BackerKit pledges by the end of January. By backing this campaign, you will receive your items well before they are available to the general public.
March 2027 (Public Launch): The official Outwrld online store will open for standard retail sales.
