Project Update: Samples of all birds are here! LIMITED EDITION prototypes
Hello bird lovers,
I got our second batch of samples! It includes updated versions of the previously tested charms and first editions for most birds. Before I show you them though, I have an important announcement! You can now purchase these prototypes at a big discount in the Add-Ons section of your survey! These are all one of a kind flawed pieces and I only have a limited number of them all, so you'll want to grab them ASAP in case they go fast. You can edit your survey at any time until they close September 1st on the Backerkit website.
The Reveals
One of the tester charms is actually completely ready to go on its first run- the Red Winged Blackbird! You can see it in this video below
Most of the other birds only need very minor modifications to make them even better despite them functioning fine- such as a small change to the size of some parts. Here is a video to show how they look at the moment
Lastly, a few got bugged in the ordering system to not have holes- or just need changes as the wings are not working correctly, demonstrated in this final video.
I'll be working on getting all of these imperfect charms fixed up and finalized for a final sample run before mass production. If you'd like to get your hands on any of these prototypes, don't forget to add them to your survey sooner rather than later so you don't miss out!
