Sorry this fell to the wayside while I was trying to get enough money to pay off the large Frankencorgis. I have some Pantone checks and I can't remember what images were ever shared so just dumping them.
The colors felt off so I wanted to have them checked. These pins are big and expensive (it was $1800 just for these 3 designs!) so I'd really like them to be correct. I should have just paid for samples with how slow I've been anyways.
The chicken is obviously not the right color and the screenprint color was picked based on the color it should have been (7569). I'm going to be discussing the options on this. It's probably easier to just pick a different screenprint color instead of have them redo the entire chicken color even though it's very clearly wrong.
Every picture the light looks different too so it's been difficult lol.
I asked them to help me select a better yellow but they haven't said anything just kept sending the same pic so I'll be asking about it again.
I am waiting on the other one since the yellow has to be corrected. Forget if I noted it but if not here was the pic. The screenprint is basically not visible.

Looks like the existing sample is up to most people's liking (according to the votes) so I will let my factory know the sample is approved.
Factories are on break again til May 5th (they will be back May 6ths), so I will be getting the two dragon designs ready to submit with this. I am going to use my other factory for the snake & sauce designs.
I had intended on ordering all the remaining designs with the bearded dragon once the sample was done (since batches seem to complete better than giant orders), but with how slow my main factory has been lately, I will have a second factory handle the other pins instead. That should speed things up at least.
The larger designs will still probably take a few months since that seems to be what their timeline is lately. Smaller designs (snake & sauces) should.. hopefully not take as long? We'll see I guess. I'm on the fence about doing a sample of the small snake which would increase the timeline, but I do think I care about the colors a lot more and they'd still be done faster than the larger dragon & bearded dragon I think.
I'll talk to both factories when they return either way and figure out what my best option is to move forward. A large number of orders will be filled once the dragon pins currently in production are done at least. I will be thrilled to get this completed and I can't apologize enough for having dropped the ball so badly on this.

I got mixed feedback about the syrup color. Facebook people loved it, Discord people did not.
I think the screenprint looks good but the syrup just seems to be the only thing people can't agree on. My original design involved a much lighter syrup color (Pantones rarely match digital art exactly).
Edit: 4/23/2026: The poll only refers to the existing sample in front of the green bushes. Do you like this and can we proceed with it? If not, are you wanting the syrup to be darker or lighter? I am not going to be debating syrup colors because they exist in a range.
I also realized I think the second from top pancake needs to be a little lighter. That can be fixed in production. Added some other older photos for reference since I am slow on this. I told my manufacturer I would get back to them on this once I discussed things with everyone (here, discord, FB).

Not a ton of progress photos but here are what I was able to get so far.
As far as the bearded dragon sample, I may try and do a second version if I can afford it with a darker syrup. The majority of people between Facebook and discord were pretty happy with the more recent version. I asked for them to see how the screenprint looks next to see if we need to make any adjustments there or not.
