Gems of Iridescia is a worker-placement board game in which players will push their luck as they compete to mine gems, restore ancient relics and ascend to the throne of a rich gem-filled world.
Take on the role of one of four explorers ranging from robots to rhinos while you discover the whimsical world of Iridescia. Beware! Many of your choices will affect the gem market values which are in constant flux. You'll be unearthing gems, restoring relics and gaining royalty points to strengthen your claim to the throne... Adventure awaits!

Quick to learn using a simple rule system that enables players to jump right into the game without reading page after page of rule books. Secret objectives and a variety of ways to score create different paths to victory making every expedition a unique and fun experience.
The value of Gems is in constant flux! Every move you make will make the rise or fall. Time your actions perfectly to capitalize on the market. Some item cards let you manipulate the market to supercharge your strategy or throw off your opponents. Reveal tiles to unearth gems! Tiles must be ahead or beside your explorer, never behind. Move on to an adjacent tile to collect a matching gem and any bonus shown. Roll your mining dice and push your luck to gain more gems! Each die is a chance for success — roll equal to or above the gem's current value and snag a gem for every success! Visit Rumi, the travelling merchant to sell your hard-earned gems and buy some handy tools to make the job easier! Trade in the right combination of gems to restore relics and gain royalty points.
There are three main types of relics: Jewelry, Tech and Lore, each marked by an icon in the top right corner of each relic card. Score big with end of game set collection bonuses for completing a set of three matching types or restoring at least one relic from each category. There are also four magical Iridia relics, marked by the Iridia stone icon. These are wild and can be used to complete any set once, giving you a major advantage. The game ends once all explorers have collected a tile from the final row, known as the Castle row. One of these tiles conceals the legendary Iridia stone, granting a powerful bonus to the lucky explorer who finds it!
Will you be the one the find the lost Iridia stone, ascend to the throne, and reunite the people of Iridescia? The explorer with the most Royalty points at the end of the game will be crowned the ultimate winner!
