This is a peak season for birdwatching and many species are migrating to their southern nesting grounds. Look closely and you might just catch a glimpse of everything from ducks to eagles on the move!
We’ve got a very exciting update this month: the Pre-Production Copies (PPCs) have arrived and they look amazing! But before we dive into all the shiny components and cute meeples, we’ve got an important reminder...
Address Locking Happening This Month
Now that we’ve officially entered full production, we’ll be locking all shipping addresses this week to begin preparing for fulfillment.
You’ll receive an email notification this week with a final prompt to check your address. After addresses are locked, it will be much harder to make changes so please take a moment now to ensure everything is up to date.

First Look at the PPCs
Before we start showing off photos, here’s a quick refresher: PPCs (Pre-Production Copies) are sample versions of each product created by the factory before mass production begins. These samples let us verify quality, colors, component accuracy, and functionality, because the last thing we want is to print 5,000 copies with an error!
We’re happy to report that everything looked fantastic and has been approved for mass production. Let’s take a closer look at each game:
Look at those cute meeples!
The fish tokens are the coolest ones
Pebbles
Pebbles looks even cuter in person! The tokens punch out easily, the rulebook feels just right in size, and the color printing is vibrant. The small penguin meeples are irresistibly cute, and the double-sided wooden tokens in the Pebbles Premium Token Pack feel substantial and heavy in hand. The fish tokens are double sided with two different images which is very nice in wooden form.
Flock! pulling off those summer vibes
Flock!
Flock! packs a surprising amount of gameplay into a small box so it was important to make sure everything was correct. The updated score sheet looks great, and the cards are super readable, even when you have a bigger hand. We did notice some minor feathering on the tokens (no pun intended), which Panda has already addressed. A cardboard insert was also added to help keep everything neat and organized on the go.

Birds on Birds
This one is all about the chunky wooden pieces and wow, they deliver. We upgraded these to birch wood for improved durability and a more satisfying weight in-hand. The Duck Duck Squirrel expansion also turned out beautifully and fits snugly inside the main box.
Rook Requiem's black cards look so cool
Rook Requiem
Rook Requiem includes an updated scorepad and a brand-new box insert to keep things tidy. Like Flock!, we caught some slight token feathering, which has already been resolved. The black cards look stunning with the artwork really popping, and the iconography is clear and easy to follow.

Bonus Highlight: Gold Foil Posters
And now, the true show-stealers: the five gold foil Rook Requiem posters. These turned out absolutely gorgeous and photos don’t do them justice. They shimmer and shine in the light and will look incredible framed in any game room. If you snagged one of these, you're in for something special.
What’s Next?
With all PPCs approved, mass production is now fully underway. This process will continue over the next couple of months, and while updates may be a bit shorter during this phase, rest assured, we’re watching everything closely.
