This morning the courier came by to pick up three roll cages full of boxes! I have a handful of packages left to ship, I'm planning to get these out early next week. Once those are on their way this project will finally be fulfilled!
Progress on shipping

Some people had inquired about US tariffs and combined shipping. Tariff rates were updated with the current percentages before the charges went through. Unfortunately I wasn't able to combine shipping with Birds of North America this time - packing was already on their way for both campaigns when I looked into this, with packing slips already printed, and it would have taken me a very long time to cross-check the names on each individual box for both campaigns. I'm not home for most of August, so to prevent further delays I decided to send out anything that was ready to ship.
How can I track my package?
International packages ship with Intime Delivery which, depending on the recipient's country, uses Deutsche Post or PostNL Global Mail, and BackerKit's tracking system does not always recognize these tracking codes. You can get the most accurate status on your package by appending your tracking code to this URL:
I'm happy to announce that batch 2 arrived at my office last Friday! That means that I'm getting ready to ship the remaining pledges. Heads up: In 48 hours I'll be charging cards for add-ons and shipping, and locking addresses on any open orders.
I've marked and sorted the packing slips. Coming week I'll be packing add-ons, counting the plushies, and I'll be quality checking them as well. The week after I'll be recruiting some friends to help fold boxes and pack everything up. You can expect your package to go out before August!

Hi everybirdie! We finally got some pictures in today!
Batch 2 plushies are almost finished. They're currently being quality checked and packaged by the factory. It will take another week or two for them to be ready to ship to me. Once they ship from the factory, it will take approximately one month for them to arrive with me. I'll be posting another update and I'll be planning a packaging day as soon as I know when they arrive.
Thank you so much for being patient with me while life throws a bunch of obstacles my way, lol. I'm really excited to have received these pictures and I'm eager to ship out the remaining packages ASAP.
Small note: BackerKit implemented a new feature that shows that campaigns are fulfilled once 50% or more packages have shipped. Because of this it now shows that this project has been fulfilled. I cannot turn this off unfortunately, but please be assured that if you didn't receive your rewards yet, I haven't forgotten!

A very brief update from my side. A backer made me aware that my BackerKit emails and notifications were not being forwarded correctly.
I know I've been flaky on my communication. Without going into too much detail, I've really had a lot on my plate for the last half a year or so, including the cancer diagnosis of two family members, the passing of a third, and now the imminent passing of a fourth family member, all within the span of about half a year. This has burnt me out incredibly. It's no excuse for my absence, but hopefully it explains why it's hard for me to keep up at the moment. I currently don't have anyone to help me with inquiries and communication. Please know that it's my priority to get your goodies to you as soon as I possibly can.
That being said, here's the current status update:
- Backers with only batch 1 plushies should have received their packages, aside from 15 backers who seemed to have fell through the cracks: I will ship these 15 remaining ones out when I'm back at work at my office, probably next week. Remaining batch 1 plushies that are reserved for this backerkit have been counted, quality checked, and set aside in my office.
- Batch 2 plushies are still in progress Unfortunately not much to do about this.. the factory seems to have been backlogged a bit since the Chinese new year holiday. Here's a screenshot of the order, paid in full, showing that we are waiting for the factory to ship: I'm unsure of the ship-by date the factory is targeting. I don't want to make a hard promise on a new date because the dates have been pushed back so many times. When things are a bit calmer in my personal life I will be contacting the manufacturer to discuss.
If at this point you'd rather have a refund, please leave a comment on this update, and I will happily accommodate this. I'll be going through this thread and processing refunds on Saturday.
