Well fancy that, some surprise activity on an old project? What could this mean?

Fear not, we’re not sliding into your emails with a hard sell, nor have we recently discovered that the books we made are secretly hazardous to geese (this is not a secret…)

No, actually it’s good news for you.

You see, we have built a terrifyingly beautiful tool; a giant PDF cannon. 

I call her Big PDFertha (even when everyone else in the RRD swamp asks me not to) 

This allows us to load all of your order details and email addresses into it, and with an easy press of a button

... all the digital rewards from your BackerKit account can become available in your RRD webstore account as well.

So this email is to let you know… we’ll be firing the cannon on this older project in the next 24hrs. 

You don’t need to do anything, right now. But from tomorrow if you log in to your RRD webstore account you should see your PDFs there as well. You will also receive an email from us that shows all the files you’ve now got access to.

Please give us 24hrs, the loading of the cannon is risky and requires careful, attentive handling… no-one wants to get raw PDF all over themselves.

If after that, you don’t see them, then it’s likely you use a different email address for your BackerKit and RRD webstore accounts, or that you simply don’t have an account on our webstore.

You’ve got a few hours whilst we’re pouring pure PDF juice into the barrel. Setup takes 3mins, tops. Quicker than writing an email to us! 

If you know that your BackerKit and RRD webstore emails are different, fear not! We can manually solve this, but you’ll need to email [email protected] with your BackerKit information (email address, project, pledge number [if known]) and let us know your RRD webstore email address. We can then knit the info together. It won’t be immediate, but we’ll collate emails together for a few extra volleys of the canon for a couple of weeks after this.

Do you have to do this? Absolutely not. The digital downloads will remain available for you to download on BackerKit. You’ve probably got them on your devices already. But having access to them through the RRD webstore means you can always guarantee you’ve got the most up to date version of the digital files - errata, reprints, even updated versions.
