What an incredible first four days! Thanks to your amazing support, we've already blasted through THREE stretch goals, and we're rapidly closing in on the next!
I have to admit, I'm particularly excited about our most recently unlocked stretch goal - the Dragon Kings patch! I've been wanting one for my battle-shirt (yes, I wear a battle-shirt instead of the traditional battle-vest), and now we're making it a reality. Thank you for helping make that happen!
We've got a couple of exciting things to share in this update, so let's get right to it.
Dragon Kings Cross-Collaboration with Strange Owl Games
Several backers have reached out asking about the planned cross-collaboration between our Dragon Kings for Dungeon Crawl Classics campaign and Strange Owl Games' Dragon Kings for D&D 5.5E campaign.
I'm happy to report that I just got off the phone with Timothy Brown, and we've been discussing exactly what this collaboration will look like!
We're working out the final details and expect to have everything ironed out over the weekend. What I can tell you right now is that backers who support BOTH Dragon Kings campaigns will receive a special incentive.
Timothy and I will share more details as soon as everything is finalized, so stay tuned.
Friends of Dragon Kings: The Dark Knocking Trilogy
We also want to take a moment to spotlight another exciting crowdfunding campaign from our friends at Ham & Egg Publishing!
Their latest project, The Dark Knocking Trilogy, features three interconnected adventures that come together to form a complete campaign.
What makes this project especially interesting is its unique dual-system format. The adventures support both Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition and 321RPG, with a clever flip-book design. Read the book from one direction, and you've got the D&D rules. Flip it over, and you've got the 321RPG version!
It's a fantastic concept that reminds me of some of the flip-style comics I loved reading as a kid. I personally can't wait to get my hands on a copy!
