I hope you have been having a great week as Mothership Month rolls on. For this update I wanted to touch on three things:
Green Design
During this project, it was important to me that when designing and printing this module and its add-ons we tried to be as eco-conscious as possible wherever we could.
For the Book and Cocktail Menu, we are going to be using recycled uncoated paper for the interior, so it'll feel just like the official Mothership books. Although using recycled paper is slightly more expensive, it's the right choice for this project.
For the T-Shirt. we went with a sustainable and eco-friendly company who could deliver an awesome shirt: Green Shirts. This company is based here in Germany and focus on Eco-Fashion. HUMMELGRAFIK has worked with them before and I knew they would be the perfect choice to get 'The Drunken Monkey' t-shirt made, so that all of you who ordered it are getting something of quality. Interview
Chris Air, from Flatline in the Blocks, has been doing mini-interviews with creators new to crowdfunding. The first part went up the other day and featured the creators behind 'All on Red' and 'Cleaning Crew'. Where is the Book at?
The Module is completely written and we are currently in the play-testing phase! Our internal timeline is for Text Lock by latest late January to Early February. HUMMELGRAFIK will then take the book from there and do what he does best and work on the layout and art. We want to have the book finished and off to the printers no later than late June.
