Scratchpad Publishing's first two box set roleplaying games, Dusk City Outlaws and Spectaculars, released in 2018 and 2020, respectively. Unfortunately, something else also released in 2020: a global pandemic that threw everything from face-to-face gaming to manufacturing and shipping into chaos. For a small (one-person) publisher, this meant that once those two games sold out, reprinting them was going to have to wait.

Fast forward to now. With my third game, Neon City Outlaws, about to go into the manufacturing process, now is a great time to bring both Dusk City Outlaws and Spectaculars back into print, taking advantage of the manufacturing of the newest game to help offset some of the costs of a reprint.

While US fulfillment will continue to go through my current warehousing and shipping provider, Blackbox, I am happy to announce that I am partnering with GamesQuest for international fulfillment on this crowdfunding campaign. Regions with the GamesQuest badge are customs-friendly; other regions may have additional customs charges. Additionally, backers in the UK and EU should expect VAT to be collected through the pledge manager before shipping. Because there are two (or three, if you are also getting Neon City Outlaws for the first time) games that are a part of this campaign, trickling out stretch goals that only applied to one game seemed like a surefire path to disappointment. So, instead, our first stretch goal kicks in at $15,000, but it's a triple-strength reward.

These are scenarios that are being created specifically as rewards for this campaign, so if you backed one of these games' Kickstarters in the past, or have purchased PDFs from DriveThruRPG, not to worry, you won't be receiving something you already own.

Just like with the previous stretch goal, if we hit $20,000 total funding a second new scenario will be created for each of the Dusk City Outlaws, Spectaculars, and Neon City Outlawsgames. I love making new scenarios for my games because they're a great way to get more game content into your hands without overloading these quick-time-to-table games with a bunch of overhead. Plus, there's so much of the worlds of my games to explore, and each new scenario is a peek at a different corner of the world you're exploring or creating.

I'm also revealing a long-term stretch goal: At $50,000, all three games will get a component upgrade, something that makes each game better. I know hitting this goal might seem like a longshot, but we're over 20% of the way there, and we still have most of the crowdfunding campaign to go. Furthermore, while $50,000 is a big stretch, it's also not the last stretch goal I have planned. If we hit that stretch goal, it's not the end of the road by a longshot!
