A Killer's Claiming takes place in Provincetown, Massachusetts, the stronghold of Meridia Blue, the Regnar of the Atlantic Ocean Atargarians. Regnar meaning second-in-line or regent. She's her father heir and a total bad-ass, BTW.
The Atargarians feature prominently in this book, including several of the merfolk.
