I had the most delightful surprise on my porch today.
Hey, look....my cookies are in!
These cookies will be going in the book boxes. Aren't they awesome?
But I should probably take a bite and try them.
However...ya know, they COULD just look pretty. Are they yummy? Dear Reader. It was a trial, but I sacrificed myself to make sure.
Not bad, not bad...Maybe a second bite??
I mean, you know, maybe that first bite was a fluke. I should try two. Or three.
Okay. A third. It's always good to be certain.
I don't want anybody to feel like I'm giving less than my best here.
Well, I've come THIS far. Seems silly to stop now.
What's the saying? In for a penny, in for a pound?
It's not like I can send out a mostly eaten cookie.
It would be a shame to waste it.
Alright, last bite. I'm pretty sure I've made my decision.
I've tasted enough to have a good solid opinion of this cookie.
