Lovely Terrors will be a collection of 10 vampire-centric horror stories. Curated by indie author and vampire enthusiast Talli L. Morgan, this collection is an exquisite showcase of chilling tales with teeth.
Vampires are a staple of horror. They have been since the earliest tales of undead bloodsuckers first surrounded our campfires. They embody what makes horror so enticing to us: they are beyond our comprehension, they are temptuous, and most notably, they wear our faces. We are drawn to what we don’t understand, we can’t resist a thrill of danger, and we cannot look away from our likeness. The vampire is a perfect vehicle for that which entrances us—and that which frightens us.
But what makes us fear vampires? What, exactly, is the monstrosity of them? Is it that they are bound to darkness—which we associate with deception, or even evil? Is it what they take from us—our blood, our life, our very essence? The stories featured in this anthology center the vampire’s monstrosity—and the irresistibility of terror.

Upon successful funding, Lovely Terrors will be published in ebook, paperback, and hardcover in Q4 2027, closely following its companion anthology, Exquisite Undead. Backers will receive the book months earlier, in Q2 2027.
