I wanted to clarify something for those who backed during the first 48 hours of the campaign.

The early bird incentive included a free Mystery WanderPal, which is a smaller plush available as either a Fox or Husky. It does not mean you receive an additional 3 foot stuffed plush.

Unfortunately, the incentive was accidentally listed as “1 SoftCandy STUFFED Plush” without specifically identifying it as the Mystery WanderPal Fox or Husky. I understand how this could cause some confusion, so I wanted to make sure everyone knows what was included in the original offer.

The incentive was meant to be a Mystery WanderPal, not an extra full sized plush from the main campaign.

I am manually correcting this on my end, but making these changes can sometimes accidentally remove other add-ons from your order. Please take a moment to review your add-ons before the surveys close in mid-December to make sure everything you selected is still there and that nothing is missing from your order.

Thank you for your understanding, and I apologize for any confusion caused by the wording. I appreciate your patience while I work through these corrections.

We have started sending out surveys, with approximately 5% of backers receiving theirs so far. We send out a small batch first to make sure everything is working correctly and that backers can complete their surveys without any issues. Once we confirm that the first batch is going smoothly, we will send out the remaining surveys shortly after.

Surveys will remain open until mid-December. We will make another post when the closing date is approaching to give everyone a heads-up in case you need to update your selections or make any new ones before the surveys close.

Shipping has been delayed a bit due to a couple of hiccups with our manufacturer, along with holidays falling in the middle of the production and shipping process.

Originally, I planned to begin shipping some of the toys in December. However, with the holiday season approaching and the increased risk of package theft during this time of year, we decided that it would be safer to avoid shipping during that period.

Shipping costs also tend to be much higher during the holiday season. By moving our shipping schedule away from that busy period, we hope to save you some money on shipping as well.

We are currently aiming to begin shipping to our early bird backers in February. We will provide another update closer to the date as we get a clearer picture of the timeline.

On a positive note, we have just been informed that Apollo and Scarlet have left the manufacturer's warehouse and are on their way to us. These will be the first two toys to arrive, while the remaining three are still being worked on by our manufacturer.

We will continue to share updates as we receive more information and get closer to shipping.

Company finished doing the final updates on the husky and he is getting ready to be sent to us. Once he arrives all 3 designs will be in hand and we can now start placing the final orders for the toys. He got his eyebrows and toe sculpting. We are so excited to have them all together. Can't wait to take photos of all the toy designs together, our collection is growing.

Quick update on the surveys. We finally got a message back from backerkit and we were missing a few key things on it. Thankfully they were very helpful and have been guiding us through it all. Will be doing the changes on the surveys by next week before they get a re check from the backerkit team. Once we get the green light then we can start sending out the first batch of them and the rest soon after. Backerkit has been a learning experience specially for our first campaign, thank you for all the patience through this as we bring these little guys to life.

I wanted to give everyone a quick update on where things currently stand.

I’ve submitted the BackerKit survey setup for review, and BackerKit mentioned that the review process can take around 2 days before I’m able to start sending out the initial surveys.

The first step will be a small smoke test survey sent to about 5% of backers. Once that is reviewed and everything looks good, the remaining surveys can be sent out to everyone.

At the moment, the survey setup is still in the review process, so I’m just waiting for the green light from BackerKit. 

If I haven’t received an answer by next Tuesday, I’ll reach out to BackerKit to check on the status and see if there’s anything holding things up. I really want to get the surveys out to all of you so we can get everything rolling and move on to the next steps toward fulfillment.

Quick Update from the Manufacturer

We have Husky photos. Husky is looking great and is almost completely ready to go. We’re just missing the tiny eyebrows and sculpted toes, but everything else is ready.

We’ll also be starting the orders for the remaining plush characters as our first batch is being packed up and prepared to ship to us. That first batch includes Scarlet and Apollo.

It’s exciting to see these plush getting closer and closer to making their way home.

We’re getting there.

We have some exciting news. Apollo and Scarlet are officially completed and are currently being packed up to make their way over to us.

Our manufacturer estimates that they will take around 48 ish days to arrive, so the first shipment will be these two adorable floofs. They should be on their way to us very soon.

We’re still waiting on the revisions for the Husky before we can give it the final OK and have them begin sewing those up for shipment.

As for the German Shepherd and Border Collie, their samples arrived early last week and are officially ready for photos. We’ll be taking pictures soon so we can show everyone just how cute they came out. They did miss the toe sculpting on these samples, but aside from that, they look exactly how we wanted them to.The toe sculpting will be added to the final versions so they match the other toys.

We’re also currently working on the survey information that will be sent out to you soon. This will allow you to provide your information, pay for shipping, and select which toys you’re interested in getting.
