1) The Lesbians in Space: The Sapphics Strike Back audiobook campaign is fully funded and we're close to our first stretch goal! So if you want to make me write a short story and have it featured in the new audiobook, check out the campaign!
2) We also have a new shiny for you! I've introduced my first enamel pins from Space Wizard. These feature the characters from both anthology covers, with an anodized metal coating. Here are the designs!
A mockup of a pin for the first anthology, using the cover characters set on a star background, with an anodized metal finish
A mockup of a pin for the second anthology, using the cover characters set on a the planet from the cover, with an anodized metal finish
These are both mockups for right now, as I need to finalize what numbers I'll need to order, but I already have confirmation and a quote from the supplier. And you can get them individually, or as a set in the addons section!
That's all for now! Mary Robinette is scheduled to start recording around the beginning of 2027, so we'll have a second anthology audiobook for you shortly after that!
You'll be able to get an audiobook of both volume 1 and volume 2 in the campaign, plus, Lesbians in Space: Where No Man Has Gone Before is up for a major award from The British Fantasy Society!
I just wanted to update all the people in this campaign to thank you for bringing Lesbians in Space: The Sapphics Strike Back to life. And, to let you know the first anthology, Lesbians in Space: Where No Man Has Gone Before is now an audiobook, narrated by Mary Robinette Kowal!
I'll be busy uploading the audiobook to places like Audible, Chirp, Audiobooks.com, and more very soon.
B U T... if you want to get a copy directly from me (and possibly sooner, as audiobooks take a while to distribute), there's a way! Even better, Mary Robinette Kowal will once again step into the recording booth in our next campaign to record Lesbians in Space: The Sapphics Strike Back! It starts September 10, and you can CLICK HERE to make sure you get alerted when it starts! During the campaign, you'll be able to get an audiobook of both volume 1 and volume 2, so what are you waiting for?
If you want even more physical or eBooks, then may I also point you toward our Year 5 Part 2 campaign, starting October 29th! I'll start posting author interviews in early September, so you can get a glimpse at what goes into these books!
