Welcome to Roll the Arcana, a 10-day event on BackerKit featuring collectible tarot decks, mini decks, and guaranteed Bonus Item Rewards from the Steamboat Legends catalog.
This is not a long production campaign. These rewards are already printed. The decks are already finished. This event is designed as a fast, fun way for returning backers and new collectors to complete their Steamboat Legends tarot collection while helping us fund the next stage of our publishing and tabletop game line.
Choose your pledge tier, receive the tarot deck or bundle listed in that tier, and get a guaranteed Bonus Item Reward added to your shipment. Each pledge tier has its own published bonus table, and the specific bonus item is determined by a d20 roll at fulfillment.
Every pledge receives its listed reward. Every Bonus Item Reward adds an extra physical item to your shipment. Depending on your pledge level and bonus table, your Bonus Item Reward may include a mini deck, pouch, reading cloth, standard deck, or larger collector reward.

About Us
Steamboat Legends is an independent publishing house creating illustrated tarot decks, playing cards, tabletop games, and story-driven collectibles inspired by the public domain era of classic animation and literature.
We launched our first tarot deck, Steamboat Arcana 1928, on January 1, 2024, the first day that the 1928 version of Mickey Mouse entered the public domain in the United States. That project became the foundation for the Steamboat Legends tarot line.
Our tarot decks include Steamboat Arcana 1928, Gaucho's Arcana 1928, Hundred-Acre Arcana, and Mystic Honeypot Arcana. The decks in this event come from our finished, in-stock catalog and are ready to ship after the campaign and pledge manager are complete.

This event includes both standard-size tarot decks and mini tarot decks. The standard-size decks are the full collector editions. The mini decks are smaller, travel-friendly editions that make it easier to collect, gift, or read on the go.
Please note: Gaucho's Arcana 1928 Mini Deck and Steamboat Arcana 1928 Mini Deck include the cards only and do not include a tin case. Hundred-Acre Arcana Mini Deck and Mystic Honeypot Arcana Mini Deck include their original case and tin packaging. After the campaign ends, we will use a d20 roll at fulfillment to determine which bonus item is added to each shipment from the pledge-specific bonus table shown on this page.
Each pledge tier has its own bonus table. This means the Bonus Item Reward is designed around the pledge you selected.
For example:
If your pledge already includes a specific standard deck, that deck is not repeated as a basic bonus.
If your pledge includes mini decks, the bonus table is designed to complement those minis.
If your pledge includes the complete standard library, the bonus table focuses on minis, pouches, reading cloths, and collector extras.
Roll the Arcana is structured as a sale event with a fulfillment-time bonus mechanic. Every backer receives the guaranteed pledge reward listed in their tier. The d20 roll determines which additional Bonus Item Reward ships with your order from the published, pledge-specific bonus table. Every pledge receives a Bonus Item Reward. There is no separate entry, no chance of receiving nothing, and no winner-takes-all structure.
