Project Update: US Fulfillment Update - Bags . . .
Hello everyone,
Yesterday morning we were made aware of a distressing issue. Via a help request, we learned that a number of US backers were sent their Munchkin Second Edition pledges in plastic shipping bags. Obviously this created an early morning stir, and we worked to track down every bit of information that we could about what was happening.
What we know:
Yesterday morning we were made aware of a distressing issue. Via a help request, we learned that a number of US backers were sent their Munchkin Second Edition pledges in plastic shipping bags. Obviously this created an early morning stir, and we worked to track down every bit of information that we could about what was happening.
What we know:
- Approximately 2,500 pledges for US backers were shipped in standard plastic bags by our logistics vendor.
What we did:
- Put a stop to all new shipments.
- Gathered a list of every backer impacted.
What changes:
- Confirmed that all future shipments will arrive boxed.
- Boxing takes longer, so we won't be finished by 7/17 like we were expecting, and we're awaiting the updated timeline for the remaining orders.
What we need from you:
- Please email [email protected] or visit our help page if you received your Munchkin 2e pledge in a bag, and its contents were damaged. Please include the email address associated with the pledge, as well as a picture of the damage.
We want to be clear:
- Shipping Munchkin Second Edition in a bag is not okay, and was never our intent.
- We will replace your pledge items if they were damaged in transit from being bagged. Please contact us.
We're apologize to each and every backer that had or will have a damaged copy show up on their doorstep because it was bagged, and we're right along side you in our disappointment over the situation. Please reach out to us so we can correct it.
