How about I tell you about my journey a little?

The Pursuit of Shadows is a series that means a lot to me. It's origins go all the way back to 2005, when a close friend of mine passed away -- as you can probably imagine, it was very difficult. Also that year I saw Constantine and Supernatural, I'd also become pretty well versed in Stephen King by that time. The Dark Tower remains my favorite.

All those things, the real and the fictional horrors combined and I had the beginnings of this story a few years later.

If I'm being honest, I didn't set out to write something that is very much in the same vein of The Dark Tower. I was actually writing a few different sci-fi novels when I launched into crowdfunding my first book in 2024. But these characters demanded I focus on them.

My aim with these books is to write my own version of a dark fantasy series after having loved so many before. I'm putting my whole heart into these and I hope you'll give them a chance.
