Project Update: A new essay unlocked and a new pledge level
Greetings, backers and friends of Strange Horizons!
Earlier today we passed $12500 raised. This puts us at less than $10000 from our base goal! It also means that we've unlocked another piece in our 2026 Fund Drive issue. This piece is an essay by Jenna Hanchey titled "Against Worldbuilding."
We also just added a new signed book donation tier that includes as rewards signed books from the award winning authors Charlie Jane Anders and Mary Robinette Kowal. Selecting this tier allows you to choose one book as your reward, on a first come, first served basis. Here are the books in this new tier:
Even Greater Mistakes (hb), signed by Charlie Jane Anders
The City in the Middle of the Night (hb), signed by Charlie Jane Anders
Never Say You Can't Survive (pb), signed by Charlie Jane Anders (2 available)
Apprehension, signed by Mary Robinette Kowal
The Martian Contingency, signed by Mary Robinette Kowal
And, as always, thank you all so much for your support of Strange Horizons! We wouldn't be able to publish the work that we do without all of you!
