It was on a street corner in New York, almost fourteen years ago, that I met Roc Upchurch, and a few months later that Rat Queens was born. It came out of our mutual love of fantasy adventure, of the wild antics one experienced around a dinner table with handfuls of dice. Of cackling wildly at something dreamed in shared imagination.

Since then, Rat Queens has been on a pretty insane adventure of its own. From a tiny little comic series, growing into what it became across many years. And, strangely, to where we are now, in this very moment. 

Redeeming another wound inflicted on our Queens. A scampaign from 2021, where we trusted the wrong people.

And, this incredible response, to trying to redeem our girls, redeem the story, and, interestingly enough, bringing this entire story of Rat Queens; comic, game and campaign, to its conclusion. And, I can see how fittingly this ends. With a lot of love and hopefully less violence.
