Welcome to the Little Lotus Seed Oracle, a deck that is not directly centered on deities, but rather on people like us, living our lives while being gently guided by divine presence.

This oracle tells the story of ordinary individuals born to experience, learn, and grow. The main character of our journey is Xiǎo Liánzǐ (小莲籽), the Little Lotus Seed, a white-haired girl who represents each of us on our path to learning the Dharma of our own nature. She walks her path under the gentle guidance of Cundi Bodhisattva, the Mother of all Buddhas across the past, present, and future. Cundi Bodhisattva’s sacred purpose is to alleviate the karmic suffering of all beings by planting the roots of Dharma within the heart, patiently awaiting their blossoming.

Just as a lotus seed gradually grows into a blooming lotus, human beings also evolve physically, mentally, and spiritually. This journey of human growth is the central metaphor of the deck. The lotus is beautiful and pure, yet before it can bloom, it must rise through mud, water, and many obstacles.

This project was born from the heart of creator Patawapon Adulwattan, a Fortune-teller and Spiritual Healer whose primary work is guiding people through moments of inner confusion. The deck is a crystallization of patterns observed from caring for others and from personal experiences of learning through confusion, pain, and loneliness. It began with a simple question: 

The answer became this deck. This deck is not merely a source of comfort. It is designed to be a safe and gentle space for those who feel alone, holding your feelings with kindness and guiding you in understanding them. By journeying alongside the Little Lotus Seed, you are invited to learn, discover answers, heal, and meet companions who walk beside you. Perhaps, one of those companions can be this deck.

Design Concept: Healing Through Art and Touch

The Visual Journey: The deck is beautifully illustrated in vibrant watercolor. Its rich storytelling goes beyond simple character portraits, inviting you into a deeper experience of understanding, reflection, and inner growth. Throughout the cards, you will see many forms of lotus flowers and lotus seeds, serving as a gentle invitation to return to the lotus seed within your own heart.

We designed this artwork to feel soft, whimsical, and profoundly healing. It is an invitation to reconnect with your inner child—to plant that seed in fertile soil, nurture it with pure water, protect it with soft winds, and patiently witness its growth until it becomes a radiant flower. When you see the Little Lotus Seed, may you recognize your own innate power to heal and grow.

Having previously collaborated with them on the In Shiva’s Eyes oracle, we can guarantee their printing quality is excellent.

To complement the soothing watercolor art, we are producing this deck on a premium 350gsm cardstock. We will finish the cards with a beautifully tactile matte or linen texture, ensuring that the deck feels incredibly soft and grounding in your hands, completely free of harsh, distracting glares. I was previously involved in Divinye Studio’s In Shiva’s Eyes Oracle project, working behind the scenes rather than as the lead writer or artist. Even so, I had the opportunity to closely collaborate with both the writer and the artist throughout the creation of the deck. The deck has received many positive reviews from users, who have shared that it offers genuine guidance; helping them navigate challenges, find encouragement, and clearly understand both their obstacles and possible solutions. The guidebook is also thoughtfully written, making it comprehensive yet easy to follow. It is truly another meaningful deck worth owning.
