It's complicated. And I don't mean it's complicated to answer. The reason is that international shipping is complicated. Criminal Spirits is my first crowdfunding release, and the universal advice I have gotten both online and in person is that the biggest problems come from shipping. I am one man who has never had to personally handle running an internation business. I also cannot, at the minimum funding levels, afford to hire a 3rd party service to handle registration, taxes and importation outside the US. In order to keep problems to a minimum and delivery on time, I have decided that I need to keep things simple. Physical copies may be available outside of the US through 3rd-party distributors following the final publication, but will not be available during crowdfunding.

Criminal Spirits can be easily used as a sourcebook, without any major adjustments needed to NPCs or rules, for games using Fate Accelerated. While there are substantial differences between Criminal Spirits and Fate Accelerated in how Actions are handled, characters and NPCs are very similar. The NPCs from Criminal Spirits can be used almost unchanged in Fate Accelerated, needing you to only: - Add Stress Boxes. - Change the names of the Approaches, if the NPC has specific Approaches. - Restrict the Stunt to specific Actions and Approaches. I would actually recommend ignoring this and simply using the Stunt as written in Criminal Spirits, Characters in Criminal Spirits have one broadly applicable Stunt compared to the three much more restrictive Stunts in Fate Accelerated.

BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
