Pre-orders payment and shipping costs will be charged in USD (backers in other countries will be charged the USD conversion rate as of the date backers are charged). Your card gets charged after the campaign ends and is no longer in Overtime Mode. The campaign is scheduled to end on Wednesday, October 28th and will end or go into Overtime Mode at 12pm Eastern / 11am Central / 10am Mountain / 9am Pacific. Over Time Mode extends the campaign by 10 minutes every time someone backs the project, so the exact time of the campaign ends (and when your card is charged) may vary.

Yes. BackerKit’s Pay Over Time option allows backers to pay their balance over the four months after the campaign ends rather than all at once. When the campaign ends and the project has reached its funding goal, Pay Over Time backers will be charged a quarter of their pre-order balance monthly for four months. Backers can choose to pay their remaining balance early. The shipping fee is charged after the last pre-order payment is made. Please note: your order is not finalized until all payments are made and the shipping survey is paid and completed.

No, the $50 USD per unit shipping fee is inclusive of Sales Tax. No additional customs, duties, or sales tax will be charged. Products will ship DDP (direct duty paid).

A Backerkit shipping survey will be sent out immediately after the campaign ends. Shipping costs are due at the time of completed payment (immediately after the campaign ends if you are paying in full, or immediately after your 4th payment if selecting the “Pay in 4” option).

Damage in transit is not covered under the product warranty, but if your package is damaged or lost in transit, you can file a claim with UPS: https://www.ups.com/us/en/support/file-a-claim.page Note that there are no shipper restrictions, so you would file the claim directly with UPS rather than TOMY US. In the unlikely event that UPS does not offer a full resolution, we request that customers then reach out to the TOMY US team at [email protected] to file a warranty claim.

BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
