Today’s spotlight is on one of the most iconic creatures from early on in The Primal Hunter series: the Great White Stag. Here's the description in the book, in case you need a refresher:
“The beast was… majestic. He honestly had no other way to describe it. It stood drinking from a pond in the middle of the plains. It had antlers that looked like they were made out of the most delicate ivory, the purest white color covering its entire body, making it appear albino.”
For the Great White Stag sketch, we asked the artist to lean hard into:
Majestic, not cartoonish. Tall, poised, and still.
Antlers like ivory in branching shapes.
Pure white body. Clean, almost glowing, so it feels otherworldly.
The kind of creature that looks serene one moment, then turns imposing and dangerous the next.
