Hi everyone! I’m catching up on messages now I’ll try my best to get back to everyone promptly but I wanted to quickly share where everything is currently at. 

So the first batch of pins came in a few days ago, the manufacturing process took a while due to the one I ended up going with being a smaller facility,  I didn’t necessarily want to do a rush order so each pin could be carefully crafted especially with some having intricate designs (also why updates have been delayed)  I was just waiting with you all for the process to complete but was a bit anxious to inform you without any visible progress… and I’m aware that this is a mistake I’ve made a couple times but i genuinely don’t want to spam too many updates.

I’m still waiting for the second batch to come in I was hoping they’d be within a similar time frame of each other and announce shipping was about to begin but the second batch is going to take longer. So that’s why I’m updating with what I have so if you don’t see a pin don’t freak out it’s on it’s way! 

On refunds I’ll still go through who needs them and manage them as fast as I can as everything and more went into manufacturing so I can’t do all of them at once just to make sure funds are mostly balanced but will guarantee them to whoever requests!

My greatest apologies to everyone for the wait on all of this though, it’s been a ride I don’t want to repeat again but I hope you guys enjoy what you helped make because I think they all turned out pretty cute!

And a final word, I fully understand those who were worried I was scamming/ did any of this intentionally please know that’s not who I am and never will be I’m incredibly sorry for how long this all took but I will always deliver what has been promised no matter what’s happened / happening throughout the process, thank you all!

Hi everyone ready to share the new samples with you guys, please know these don’t have screen printing yet or coloured metal but I’m just so excited to share them with you! Final production begins on these ones now so I’ll update with the screens next sorry there were further delays but I do love how they’re looking hopefully you all do too!

Mainly accepting colour choices here, the issues of over polished (thick lines) areas should be fixed in production it’s just a result of over sanding.

Currently it looks like Australia has set up delivery to the US again but the US is still refusing packages from us or it’s spotty as to what goes through so I’ll hope that it’s resolved by the time I have these little guys on hand

 

First things first the US tariffs from my understanding they were deemed unlawful but kept in place in the meantime, however something should have to happen about it mid October where we’ll know if they’re removed or extended. Knowing the way things are currently operating I do have a friend who also runs a pin business there and we’ve organised to have what’s needed sent to her address and I’ll eat import costs if they occur!


Onto manufacturing, the factory I was initially working with just couldn’t get the more complex pins correct in sampling so i didn’t trust the full production process since colour placement was wrong or missing in a few of the options so I’ve shifted to another I’ve used before,
The old factory will still be handling 
- sugar jar 
- Strawpurry punnet
And the mini freebies since these looked lovely 

New factory will have these adjusted pins and use a gradient effect instead of metal effects and the colours have had their required adjustments too! I’m so excited for production and to share it with everyone and also the other pins not listed!

The effect should be something like this which i think looks super pretty! Hope you guys like this too!

Sorry for the delay things have been shaky as I’ve been figuring out shipping now, Australia post has a new 3rd party option to pay tariffs ahead of time but the company I was hoping to work with hasn’t come up with a solution yet so I’m thinking this workaround will be the best bet since I don’t want each package to the US being hit with Aus  + China tariffs, I’ll ship out everyone else’s first then the US stock will go to my friends her account is @Cinnitea on instagram if you want to check out her beautiful works!

Btw i think I’ll keep the preorder store open until numbers are finalised after I’ve ordered the amounts required of each pin (MOQ is like 50pcs) so I’m not worried about running out really, if you haven’t gotten one of the new pins or want to share with friends feel free to! I’ll make sure to order extra anyways for flaw rates and all that 💕

I’ve been vectoring the little cuties so haven’t had time to make full new things to decorate the update with but I wanted to share the backing card design and some WIPs

I wanna use the Strawpurry buddies for something but not sure what item they’d work as yet or maybe I’ll change them up and make a car peeker sticker! (An excuse to show off this one I designed for a friends campaign)

Hi everyone, as you can all see I’ve been struggling with this on my own this campaign has been a pretty truely crazy ride i genuinely thought i could pick myself up and manage. After my mental health took a huge hit, I started panicking anytime i considered working on this, then the tariff situation happened and while it doesn’t directly impact me in Australia for the most part I was very worried that since the origin of the items was China that it’d cause other issues people getting charged more or me ending up with an extra fee on importing. I really don’t want this to be a reflection of my business or on Ashley, it’s just a blip in terms of everything feeling like too much at the moment. Of course when I took on the project which I didn’t expect or plan for any of this and didn’t keep Ashley in the loop enough to where I was at now I’ve noted that i should’ve prepared for this to potentially happen even on a just incase basis and not to try and manage everything alone when things are falling apart but i really hope nothing like this ever happens again.

So current plan is if you want to request a refund I’ll and space them out as to not financially impact myself and completion of the campaign since I’ve already spent some of it on sampling and packaging but I understand some have fallen out of love with the designs due to the wait I want to do my best to make sure everyone who requests will receive one. Please comment below and I’ll organise it and I know it’s rude to ask anything from you but once it’s issued please reply to your comment so others know that I’m honouring it and reliable on this matter. 

Those who want to buy the rest of the designs just released which are featured below can find them in the preorder shop it’ll be closed after the 11th and I’ll reopen the store after I’ve completed fulfilment with the limited extras so people who enjoy the designs and might have gotten refunds or missed out have a chance to reorder the excess when trust is restored!

The last thing I want is for this to read as a sympathy card I’m just explaining where I’m at please take it as such, I don’t expect people to trust or return instantly or at all I just want to make things right! i truely appreciate everyone for keeping this community so sweet and kind for how flaky I’ve been if there’s anything I can do right now to help please let me know. I’m not going anywhere this time I truely promise especially now that everything is out and done in terms of the art side of things.

Despite being gone I’ve still been doing what I can behind the scenes to progress the production and try to match the campaign work thankfully my manufacturer was sweet and offered me some new molds for free but I’m still stuck with progress on the honey pin because I’m torn which direction to go or how to fix it I do think I need to replan the mold again (this isn’t the new one they just offered a free redo) because the recessed effect is not working how I planned for but I’m not sure how I like the flatness of the screen print on the jar either

I fear in my want to make something super cool I strayed too far from the design I wanted to create but I’m just thinking about what I can do to make it like the artwork, maybe since some manufacturers have implemented magnetic cat eye or sandblast effect with A’s colour? Definitely need to fix the recessed area of “honey” that should be metal

I have some other designs kind of sketched / planned but I will save those for a later campaign since they need some more love before I can share them if i still have enough money for it I will add these into the packages randomly and only get a limited amount so it’s a complete surprise!
