I've got one up for you as of RIGHT NOW, which should give you a fun overview of several cool abilities in the game (though the sampling is pretty small, Gallerie has hundreds of abilities before you even touch the Brushwork). In addition, I want to take this opportunity to pass a huge thank you to Mercedes Lackey and Zombie Orpheus for their feature! This is incredible. As many of you have heard me say before, reaching your audience is the hardest part of this entire process. Yes, I'm including 2 years of development in that statement. Because I know how to *do* that. I know how to iterate and adapt, test and design, build and re-build. Ultimately every challenge there is just time and persistence and skills I've spent years cultivating. But marketing is a whole different beast. Projects live or die on marketing. It's a job that takes teams and I'm a single person already doing a team's worth of jobs. So when someone influential comes along and is willing to offer support like this:
It means the absolute world. Because they have an enormous audience I don't have and have no realistic chance at reaching without their help, and that's what we need more than anything else right now. I can't thank you enough Mercedes and ZOE, this was a hell of a mood booster. ALL YALL SHOULD GO CHECK OUT THEIR CURRENT PROJECT!

Hey all! I plan on having some games to stream this weekend for you, but tonight lets check out some videos you may have missed so you can get some in-depth info on how to play Gallerie!
I feel like y'all probably have a pretty good feel for the content in this game, so I want to start you off here: A playlist of a bunch of the core mechanics.
There are 5 videos in here that are each between 3 and 10 minutes long that will give you the rundown on most if the core dice mechanics in the game, as well as some neat side features. There's also one of several character creation examples done live at the end so you can see them used in real time. Check them out either before or during our live games so you better understand what the dice are doing. Gallerie's a very simple game mechanically; you'll have a good enough idea of how it works after these that you could drop right into a live game and not be lost.
From there, you could proceed through the tomb of the silver monkey through the prelude document videos! These were released during the campaign spinup and involve going through the Prelude document (that's this guy if you missed it: https://www.weaponsgradefunk.com/_files/ugd/5bb3e8_ae7f5b97cab9409090b0010338efd9b9.pdf ) spread-by-spread and explaining thought processes and ideas behind the game and design. There are fully 13 videos in this list so there's lots to see! Most of them are between 7-10 minutes.
At this point you're pretty well-versed in the overview of the place, so dive in with some actual play! We have a whole weekend's worth of live play videos stored on twitch right now where you can see these ideas put into practice with some truly original and creative characters. A stuffed snake made of yarn, a late 1800's trans glassier, a living shotgun who just wants to be loved, a jailbreak of 300 raccoons on a steamship, come check them out!
Starting next week, I'll also be working on a new set of videos that are diverging a bit from the mechanisms of the game and getting deeper into why I wanted to make it and what they mean to me. Here's the list of ideas I'm currently tumbling around!

Thank you all for a colossal opening weekend! We're two days down and nearly halfway to our goal! Technical difficulties notwithstanding, the weekend streams were a blast and you can check them all out on the WGF twitch if you want to see how established games run and how a brand new game with brand new players and wildly different origins comes together to form a coherent party!

Muses can be *anything*. We had a character that was literally an animated shotgun running around on all fours.
We had a 100-raccoon jailbreak on a steamship falling through the air and crashing into a forest.
We had the world's most ADHD stuffed snake come to life to cheerfully greet her family only to horrify them with her yarnlike visage and send them fleeing from the vicinity (she was very sweet though, she wrote "ILL SeE YoU AgAiN" in biiiiiiig bloodred letters on the wall so they'd be sure not to miss it!)
