I don't know if it mentioned somewhere on the project page that the slipcase exclusively fits the second printing. I have an original Kickstarter printing, and I thought this slip case would be a good way to keep the postmortem and the original printing together in the same place. How wrong I was, this slip case is not even close to big enough to fit my original copy of the book, let alone with the postmortem. If I had realized that my 1st edition would not fit in the slipcase, I would have ordered another copy to store in it, now I just have slip case with the postmortem floating around in it like a 5 year old wearing his dad's blue jeans. The only information I can find that indicates the slip case is only for the 2nd printing is the phrasing in the survey "The World of Warcraft Diary Slipcase 2nd printing", but I do not recall seeing any information about the dimensions of the printing being different than the first printing, all I see is: "The content between the first and second editions is identical" shame on me I guess for assuming that identical content would mean identical/compatible dimensions.

For folks who ordered just the booklet and received a 2nd edition book instead. I was able to reach out to [email protected] and they sent me the post-mortem booklet and a mailing label to send the 2nd edition back.

It was 3 months ago that the update said 'fufillment will happen over the next month'. As a lowly hero pledger, should I be concerned that mine still has not shipped?

Anyone else with the first edition book discovering that the slip case doesn't fit?

There is absolutely no way you are not aware of these questions, and I dare you to say you are not aware of them because that would speak volumes in itself. I moved and didn't get my copy, even though I have been forwarding my mail. USPS told me I should ask the issuer for help, as the item is now effectively lost. I don't know what to expect, but I hope that I can get some help with this. As a former WoW dev it would have meant a lot to have a copy.

My order hasn't been marked as sent yet, I just wanted to know if there's any ETA on when the book will be sent with the extras I bought?

Hey guys, where is my stuff... it's been about 7 weeks since you printed my shipping label but haven't shipped my items yet. Delays delays, what gives?

Hey I wonder if I could somewhere get some information about the current status of my pledge/shipping. I ordered the book on 02/27/2023. On 02/15/2024 I was asked to check if my shipping address is correct (which was correct). But thats it. So to just understand what current status is: are the books shipped and there might be an issue with my shipment? Or is the shipment still delayed? Thanks!

Also I believe Source Point Press comments are from Nolan (Hey folks) and I doubt John will make any comments on Backerkit. We do seem closer but, "May the odds be ever in your favor".
