Proof #2 off to the Printer~
The softcover proof has been sent off to the printer! I'll definitely need to do another round of proofs of both after this which will add more time to the overall project's fulfillment. Right now, I think I'll be getting everything for the project out the door and into your hands starting in October at the latest

As an extra special thanks for everyone's patience on fulfillment, I'm going to do a unique drawing on the inside cover of each backer's physical copy of Doors. I did this for the Active Time Event!!! Kickstarter years ago, and that went over really well. It was also hella fun to boot.

This will be the last update you see from me for awhile. The next update will show off photos of the hardcover proof.

Proof #1 off to the Printer!
Hey y'all!

The finish line for this project is finally starting to come into view. I got the hardcover proof off to the printer this morning. Unfortunately, the estimated time is 3-7 weeks to get the book back in my hands. I'm gonna try to get the softcover out this week as well, but with the back and forth involved in printing, it might be next week.

Regardless of how fast we get the proofs back in that timeframe, it is gonna put the project behind schedule a little bit with fulfillment. I hope this doesn't delay fulfillment more than a month or two. From here, the road to being finished is almost entirely shipping logistics.

Soon, I'll start sending out address/shipping surveys. Please bear in mind that I'll lock in shipping costs then. For US domestic, it'll be between $7-15 depending on how much stuff you're getting in your package. For international, it'll likely be around $20 USD. Don't feel pressured about the prices though. I'm willing to work with any of y'all who need more time.

Next update, I'll have pictures of the proof to show off! Fingers crossed that there won't be any glaring errors. See ya then!

Comic Update #2
Hey everybody,

I am grinding along trying to make headway on the stretch goal comic. Digital layouts are nearly finished, so it'll be lineart and then cleanup from there. Check them out:

This is about on time. I would have liked to be a little further along by this point, but I can't really complain. Between my other projects (and my 9-5 of course), it's getting harder and harder to find large unbroken blocks of time to work on this. This update is the culmination of a gorllion 20 minute bursts.

This next week, I'm gonna try to get these in the current draft and order a few proofs of the final book. This next month will really determine if I'll need any extra time to fulfill, but fret not! If I need any extra time, it'll likely only be a month or two max.

See ya next time!

Comic Update #1
Sup ya nerds,

Happy Pride! May was a whirlwind in personal life, and I had very little time to work on Doors when not at my day job. I've just been plugging away at the comic since I've been back. Here's a (mostly) finished lineart of page 1. There's still some cleanup to do, but

*Toji Fushiguro Voice* I think I'm getting my edge back.

Now that I've worked out this clusterfuck of a page, production should go a lot faster. After I have a lineart art of each page, I'll port them into the master doc and get a few proofs printed of both softcover and hardcover. Expect some more comics updates before proof photos.

See you in the next one!

Example of Play Comic Compositions Done/Wilderwhim Patch Design
Hey y'all!

I've been busy with some life stuff the past month, but I've also been plugging away at the comic. Next is importing them to digital and beginning first pass of lineart. Check out some of the pencil compositions below.

I also received the patches a little while ago. Very pleased with how they came out.

That's all for now! Toodles~

Example of Play Comic Progress!
Hey ya nerds,

I've been cracking away at the Example of Play comic that sits at the end of the GM's Tools section in Doors of Dimensia. I got green light from all of my players in my Fabula Ultima campaign (that playtested Dimensia many times over many multiversal travels) to portray them and their player characters as the party in the comic. Huge thank you to the Piques of Certainty for this. Excited to play with y'all this upcoming Sunday to further explore the Nechronopolis!

Below you can get a bit of a vibe for the eventual style of the comic. Can you tell the only other medium I ever even think about is manga?
So far everything is right on time. I also got the stickers in.

Patches are coming in as I type this. See ya in the next comic update!
