"You ever wondered what happens to dead pet games?"

When a beloved pet dies, mourning is normal. When a digital pet dies, its pet site goes down, or you lose contact with them due to a lost password or email, who hosts their funeral?

"Pay no attention to the man behind the screen."

WHO ARE YOU?

I'm a nobody, a simple businessman who's here to sell products from a pet game that's long dead...some say, never existed in the first place. I'm selling pins of beloved lost souls, shakers, and maybe even a few photos from the real world outside. (You remembered what that looked like, right?)

You may call me the "Creature Collector." Don't worry about my story. Instead let's focus on those who disappeared into that terrible BLUE HELL.

"Even if he's gone now you still remember how he greeted you when you came home from school. He couldn't tell you, but you were the best part of his life too you know?"

WHAT IS A BLUE HELL?

A BLUE HELL is a term for falling under the map in a video game. In this state, you often fall into an endless blue void. Digital pets live in a digital realm, and when that realm disappears they fall into BLUE HELL. It's not your fault you lost contact with your pets. Life gets in the way. Passwords lost, computers corrupted, and by the time you remember your old digital friend, the website he lived on disappeared, closed years ago.

"Even when you lost the password to your account, they waited."

But, if you feel guilty, don't be. No matter what anyone else tells you, your digital pets loved you until the very end. Don't mourn what has been loss, celebrate the time you had together.

It is only then that you'll be able to accept the BLUE HELL that awaits.

Tell Me About Your Online Pet Game Experience
"Gone or still digitally alive. Let your voice be known."

Got a pet game experience you remember fondly? I want to hear about it. Doesn't have to be a dead pet game either. Let's celebrate both the living and dead digital pets of our lives. Can you remember the name of your first digital friend? The games and adventures you had? My (metaphorical of course) ears are open.
