The author of the Lucifer’s Tarot system - Igor Bombushkar, better known as magician Ingvar, is a Ukrainian mystic, publisher, psychotherapist, and public figure. He is known for actively promoting mystical knowledge among the population of the former USSR countries and for charitable actions to help those in need. He is the founder of the herbal teas company Gift of Strength, AUM online Esoteric Academy, Bambushkar 2.0 Publishing House, the Ukrainian Institute of Parapsychological Research and Sunrise Psychological Help Center.
Born on December 25, 1976, in the city of Vugledar, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine, Igor Bambushkar is the youngest son in a mining family. From his youth, Igor showed an interest in phytotherapy. Since the high school Ingvar studied with herbalist teachers, esoteric masters and occultists.
In 2001, he graduated from Donetsk National Medical University, obtaining medical degrees as a surgeon and psychiatrist. From 2002, he worked at the Department of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy, teaching students operative surgery. In 2004, he moved to Kyiv where he lives till nowadays. In 2020, he opened the AUM Academy online school to popularize esoteric knowledge and teach those interested in occult disciplines.
Scientific & Research Activity
Ingvar co-authored 27 scientific articles, 6 monographs, 6 textbooks, 22 rationalization proposals, and 16 author's certificates of medical direction. In 2012- 2014 he led research projects for the Sunrise Psychological Help Center focusing on parapsychology, transpersonal psychology, and other unconventional scientific directions. In 2014, he founded the Ukrainian Institute of Parapsychological Research, becoming one of the few academic institutions in the field of parapsychological studies in the former Soviet Union. From 2014 to 2016, he participated in the Annual Convention of the Parapsychological Association, presenting three researches. The topics included the current state of parapsychological research in Ukraine and the experimental proof of the existence of the soul.
Publishing Activity
Ingvar founded his own publishing house with the primary goal to "release 13 new fundamental textbooks and manuals on practical magic and secret knowledge." The first published book under the publishing house was "To Help Those Infected with HIV: I Want You to Live!" dedicated to the All-Ukrainian Charity Campaign to help people living with HIV. The release of planned books is ongoing, with the latest as of February 2020 being "The Depths of Unexplored Sufism" (2019), part of the trilogy "Nectar of Divine Knowledge." As of today, the publishing house has published over 80 books by various authors.
Lucifer’s Taro
The very first edition of Lucifer’s Tarot was published in 2009 and all 1000 decks were quickly sold in Ukraine. In 2016, the publishing company "DeLuxe" (Ukraine, Odessa) published the second and third editions of the Lucifer’s Tarot in large and small versions. And in 2017, with the same "DeLuxe", Ingvar signs an exclusive agreement for five years to publish the Lucifer’s Tarot in English in order to enter the European and American occult markets. Already in 2021, Deluxe, through Amazon successfully made full sold out and for 2022 the English version became inaccessible for English-speaking practitioners, who simply flooded Ingvar’s office in Kiev with their endless requests for an immediate reprint of Lucifer’s Tarot in English. Based on the fact that DeLuxe completely ceased its activities in 2022 due to the war in Ukraine, it became impossible to extend the copyright agreement with this copyright holder. Currently Ingvar solely owns the copyright for the Lucifer’s Tarot.
Charitable Activities
In 2011, Bambushkar founded Sunrise Psychological Help Center. In 2013 the organization launched campaign in Ukraine on national level to help people living with HIV. In 2014, he received an award from the Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine "for a high-level civic position and concern for people who need support and assistance in the fight against a terrible disease of the 21st century."
