He dreams of mass murderers. Then he has to kill them. Nexus turns 45 — and WHAT IT IS finally tells the whole story. Unseen art, untold history, one oversized 9×12 volume. New to Nexus? Back now for immediate access to our new Nexus Reading Library.

324 pages, 12x17 inches. Full-color finished art paired side by side with the original pencils and inks from Eisner Award winner Steve Rude. Most oversized editions show only black-and-white scans. This one also shows the final color art.

Collected for the first time in softcover, Clover Press and the Library of American Comics brings you DICK TRACY, collecting the newspaper strip by year, with new covers by eclectic contemporary artists, and housed in beautiful slipcovers.

Pull Up a Chair in the Nexus Studio. We’re building the next Eisner-Winning Nexus story—script drafts inks, rough thumbnails, early lettering, margin scribbles and indecision included. If you love the messy magic behind a comic, you're home.
