The first book in a new, character-driven fantasy adventure series. Join a deserting soldier, a reformed bandit, a usurped prince, a regretful father, and a wannabe wizard on their quest to uncover a centuries old conspiracy.

The ancient, ruined city of Forastad resurfaces after two thousand years beneath the sea, and the hunt is on for lost magical items, gold, silver, and the magical crystals, sordalite.

The next great campaign from the team that brought you the Words of Radiance Leatherbound, Isles of the Emberdark, and the record-breaking Year of Sanderson!
