J.J. Alo’s Southern New England Horror Anthology series has received widespread critical acclaim from multiple editorial publications. His latest novel, Misery Plaza, has recently won the 2025 Readers’ Choice Book Award for Best Horror as well as the Indie Author Project Book Award for Sci-fi. His debut, The Street Between the Pines, has achieved the 2024 President’s Book Award from the Florida Authors & Publishers Association, the IndieReader Book Award for Horror, and was a FINALIST in both the Chanticleer International Book Awards and the Killer Nashville Claymore Award Competition. J.J.
