By popular demand, I'm doing another bug book, this time about mimicry! Learn about bugs that pretend to be other things, and the various reasons why they do so.
I'm Ketrina, a science communicator and arthropod aficionado! I've done many educational illustrations, from artwork for computer science courses to posters about frogs and fungi.
I've also drawn a lot of nudibranchs.
My first book (and first BackerKit project) was Insects A to Z, an alphabet book filled with bugs!
I asked fans what my next book should be about, and people wanted more bugs! But one request stood out--mimcry! Since mimicry is one of the secrets to the insects' success and because it's a fascinating subject, this book is about the insects that mimic things to escape predators.
But it's not just insects that use mimicry, so This Is Not a Ladybug also features spiders, plants, and a few surprise creatures!

The book's contents are currently in progress! Your support funds the initial print run and distribution, so the more pledges, the more books can be printed!
