Deadweights are teddy style plush with weighted limbs, soft stuffing, and fluffy fabric to make them the perfect cuddles! Each character is themed after a phrase that includes the word dead, and has a unique cause of death. Lovely to cuddle, fun to look at, and making melancholy and macabre in to silly and snuggly are the goal for these cuties.

They won't let being past-tense stop them from making new friends, so come meet the Deadweights!

Hook the salmon is based on the phrase "Dead On Arrival." He worked himself to death for the Salmerican Dream: a nice house, decent job, and hundreds of lil fry plunked in to the same river he was born in. The journey to retirement had his body falling apart by the time he completed that bucket list, but now he can relax with you!

Hugs the python is based on the phrase "Dead Lift." Being a constrictor he was proud to be the strongest person he knew! He let the confidence go to his head however, so he promptly lost it when lifting too much weight without a spotter. He's still got plenty of strength in those arms for his namesake!

Daisy the possum is based on the phrase "Playing Dead." An aspiring thespian in life, she played the part of deceased a little too well when startled by a car. She regrets never having gotten over her stage fright, but she'll gladly play the part of friend for you any time!

Prototype pictured is not final. Changes made to the final prototype: Black embroidery in ears removed, smile placement update.

Roger the dove is based on the phrase "Dead Air." When his squad's radio equipment was destroyed in an ambush he risked flushing in to the air with a message for assistance. He got the message through at the cost of his life, but his heart still has plenty of room for a new friend, bullet and all!

Persephone the ant is based on the phrase "Dead Wrong." The spoiled princess had always been a bit of a brat, but that all changed one day when she got a new crown. Her kingdom is glad she's friendlier even though she refuses to take her new treasure off. If you come a little closer she can shower you with love and spores!

Switchblade the cat is based on the phrase "Dead or Alive." He fitsed and sitsed in the wrong box, and now he's both the least dead of the group and just as dead as the rest. He's sneaky and secretive, but if you truly become his friend he'll love you with his whole heart instead of just half!

Bullseye and Crosshair the conjoined calves are based on the phrases "Dead Center" and "Dead Set." Born on a clear evening in June, these two had a short lived dream of shooting for the moon on a silver rocket ship. They don't mind having landed among twice as many stars. They'd love to map the milky way with you!
