An orange glow highlights the number “8” on the level grid. Holding down the “A” button and “start”, the screen blinks before the game begins. As the first block begins to drop at the familiar level 18 pace, an unforgettable 8-bit tune kicks off the match. 

 

Welcome to Tetrinomigon, the classic video game where players stack geometric shapes to clear lines. 

 

Tetrinomigon’s geometric shapes are called tetrins. There are 7 tetrins, each made up of four squares:

Like in all Tetrinomigon tournaments, players and the T3TR1_bot start the match at level 18. A match ends when a player or the bot reaches level 29.  For the player team to win, only one player needs to reach level 29 before the T3TR1_bot. When a player reaches level 29, the match is over and turns stop. If the T3TR1_bot reaches level 29 before the players, the bot wins.
