Bring the whimsy and magic of a ride on the carousel to your everyday life with this colorful set of hard enamel kitty pins. Each Kitty embodies the ability to wonder and dream in the face of hardships, while having the strength to protect them.
The designs feature the beauty of nature, from the stars and sky to the season and flowers. You can pick just one, or collect a whole “Carousel” of designs and line them up. If you’re not the biggest fan of cats, don’t fret! In the future I’d love to expand the line to more animals. Maybe an homage to some of the first merchandise I had ever made! Carousel designs of a deer, fox, and a bunny.
New kitties will be unlocked as we reach their milestones, and there are a couple of freebies mini-pins to earn too! So if you’re ready, hop right on and let’s go for a spin on the Kitty Carousel!
Backerkit is a pledge now pay later platform. You wont be charged until the end date, and only if the project is successfully funded!
This base funding for this project will unlock the Twinkling Tiger design, with the other designs to be unlocked as we go. To make things simpler, pledge levels are tiered by the number of pins you'd like tto purchase. When the survey comes out after the campaign, you'll be able to pick from any of the unlocked designs for your rewards.
All designs are approximately 2 inches, though some of our friends are a little longer or shorter. They feature gold and silver plated metal, with fun UV printed details. Each pin will have two colored rubber clasps to safely affix them to your bags, attire, hats, and wherever else you like to keep them!
Each kitty has an accompanying theme that they 'carry' with them, although there is no need to adhere to them if they don’t speak to you. Each kitty will happily hold onto any meaning you’d like to let them carry. Take as much or as little from their themes as you wish!

If you’re more of a sticker collector than a pin collector, I’ve also designed some sticker sets with the main kitties!
The stretch goals for this project are alternate colorways. The artwork is still in process, but I'll be revealing them as we get closer to unlocking them! The frostlight tiger is already featured on cat-tastic mini pin, but there are some hints as to what the other themes are in their names and the following text!

As an additional offering, I’ve added a set of mini cub pins that are little cub versions of their big counterparts! They will be 1 inch big, perfect little fillers!

Shipping will be charged AFTER the campaign, After you have made your pin selections along with any additional add-ons. The cost of shipping varies by weight, what you have ordered, and where it will be delivered to.
Unfortunately at this time I do not have the means to ship to the EU. Please enlist in the help of a friend or a proxy if you would like to purchase at this time.

REFUNDS Please be aware that you may cancel your pledge at any time during the campaign before if ends and you will not be charged. You will only be charged after the campaign ends. After the campaign ends and the payment is processed, I don't have the means to refund any orders, pledges, add-ons, or shipping. I am a small business, and as such, a refund at that time takes money I don't have out of my pocket.
If you cannot pay for shipping when the time comes, or if you do not reply to your survey and I cannot get a hold of you after 3 months time, I will consider your pledge a deeply appreciated donation towards the project.
I'm estimating all these dates, but I will keep everyone informed during the process. If there are any delays, I'll be sure to communicate them. It's not my first time manufacturing pins, but I am working with a new manufacturer so I can only estimate how long things will take.

Hello! I'm Jelly! These days I'm never entirely sure what to say in an 'about me'. My plans and career as an artist have kind of been turned on their head. I was a storyboard artist, a freelance illustrator, a hobby ceramicist and a plush designer. I sew little plush of my characters and crochet when my hands are not aching. I love to garden and sit outside and the smell the grass even though I'm allergic. Same for cats. I've always been allergic, but they are my favorite.
I'm one of those foolhardy people with the audacity to try anything. Something costs too much? Well, it won't cost less to try to do it myself, but I will try anyways because its more fun that way. (albeit maybe sometimes frustrating.)
For the longest time I felt like I had to pick a lane, but I'm starting to feel like embracing just being into everything is better for me. The energy I've felt working on Kitty Carousel is confirming that it's the right choice. This project feels like a return to some of my roots, when I wasn't afraid to fail and just tried and tried and tried. It feels great to try again.
