One month until launch!! And a Dressmaker challenge
Hey all!
I'm super excited to get this book out to you and kick off all of the usual crowdfunding shenanigans (plus some)... But in the meantime... One of the things I've been doing recently is I totally got sucked into the Dressmaker craze, and I was like, wow, playing this game is just like being Sylvan (but a little more upscale and a lot less medical debt lol).
Sylvan is definitely impressed.
So, I figured, it could be really fun to issue out a little challenge... We've got a lot of stuff we can make in the context of like, pretending to be Sylvan and serving his customers. You know I've been in here making Inix and Feint aesthetic fashion, absolutely, but I wanted to open it up to you folks! I've got a little challenge for anyone playing Dressmaker... Well, two honestly, if you want to do both.
Here's your customer's briefs:
Inix would like a dress to sell in!
Feint needs something ridiculous and flashy for a gala!
Don't worry about the size, just design to your heart's content! Since you can't reply here in the comments with an image, I've got posts up on Bluesky (Inix's brief, Feint's brief) you can QRP or reply to if you like! I'll share what you've made in the next update if anyone makes anything. :D

I thought it would be fun if I put all the bot characters into one of those early 2000s style personality quizzes and then you could see which bot you seem to align with most. I'm super curious as to who people will align with best. I have a feeling it might be Sterling, but I could be wrong...
This is absurd. You folks are still with me, after 2 books into this wild series about robots and cyborgs and you're totally ready for the depressed wet cyborg man to go about his part of the story?

So, like, pre-launch is new, so this whole, making updates prior to the campaign ever even being live is a totally new thing for me. But it means that instead of constantly screaming on Bluesky, I can tap you folks for some of what you'd like while I'm building the campaign in the background.
I really wanted to do something for a 100 follower milestone but honestly I didn't think? I would get there? At all? I just wanted to be like hey if for some reason we get there then I'd like to give something away. But... We're almost there. Already. And I haven't decided on what to give away.
