Hi, Furball Friends!

While the Samples taking shape more & more, the Plans for the Campaign also do.

After thinking & calculating what would be the best way, I came to the decision to keep the Campaign a little smaller than I wanted it to be the first time.

We will just have 7 Puppy Breeds instead of 12 - for now.
Which ones? I'll come back to it below.
Different colorways are still planed ;)
 
It also won't be the last Furball Puppy campain, it will continue over the time ;3
But I first want to groove into that Plushie Business & don't overwork myself the first time.

It also has to do with the logistics, their cost & my Plans for 2 small to midsized conventions in early 2027, here in Germany and all stuff of organizing this. (Application phase. Not set yet.)
At the moment I don't have the capacity for 12 Breeds (what would be (!)1200 Plushiiieees), just for 6-7 ... hundered...

Funfact: I have the luck living just 500m from one of those big selfstorage room buildings that swapped over from the States to Europe in the past few years - no far ways & a faster shipping. It's also cheap. xD

Let's compare the old and the new Version:

These are the corrections on the OLD Sample.

-> The new Sample has finally long ears & the color of Ears & Tail is darker now - as I wished ;)
(What has the reason that the Main Fur color is lighter now - it can be that easy sometimes...)
The longer Fur is availabe in less colors than the short, and the darker ones where to dark allready. But I'm superhappy with that decision. Color isn't looking that orange anymore.

- I also like the head to be bigger, and not that eggshaped.

- From the front it might get another small shape correction, but it is so close now!

A few little Changes about the Face emboidery, bigger Eyebrows, Cheeks more Oval and more rosy, maybe changing the angle of the Eyes. I tried when making the overdraw of the 1st sample, but It did'nt look how I wanted, so... (probably) last final round.
And: the Nose is too round, that will be fixed.

Like I said in the previous Update, I wanted the Goldie's Body a little "shorter", what worked great. About ~1cm shorter it matches the Bodyshape of the Shepherd and the desired FurBALL Puppy Shape.

New Sample: In reallity the Furcolor should be more saturated.

Front VIEW:

The eyes came out supercute.
But the Plushie needs some fixes. Mostly to make the Snout rounder, the cheeks oval and maybe the nose black?

Hi, Furball Friends

The Plushie Samples for the Golden Retriever & the German Shepherd are here - and WOOOW!
They came out so awsome.

The Manu was really as fast as promissed. I've ordered them last Tuesday Thursday and like they said the 1st samples were finished Monday. I've seen them today for the fist time (I concentrated on the Pretty Big Kitties, to get them ready for Proof Phase.)

But enough words frome me - take a look at theese two CUUUTIES!!!!

The Shape is absolutely FURBALLtastic!

Nothing has been overdrawn yet, I give them a little more time, but I can tell you about some (mostly small) changes I want to make.
I'll also care that they have the same body proportions later.


Golden Retriever: 75-80% finished.
- Head: More roundly at the top
- Ears longer (Finally long Fur for Ears & Tail, yeah! A little darker Tone would be nice, but there aren't that much choices for the longer Fur ...)
- Light Cream of the Tummy is a little too light maybe, I'll go through the Colors again. 
- Cheeks rosy

(I was actually fine with the short Fur, but because )

German Shepherd: 90-95% finished.
- Shape: Almost nothing to say.
- Check of the Fur colors (a little darker brown maybe?)
- Eyes could be a little closer 
- Cheeks should have enough contrast to the light brown Fur
- Inside of Ears is a more pink than in the drawing, but it is looking nice too - I'll think about that.

I hope yo like them so far ;)
I'll send the corrections to the Manu within 1-2 Days, so we should have more to see next week ;)

Hi, Furball Friends!

It has been quiet for lots of Time, but it's clear that the Furball Puppies will return THIS YEAR!!!

It will start when:
- Both Prototypes are finished (As I know myself it will be the first thing to happen...)
- We have enough Followers together
- The Presentation got it's remake

Initial Goal:
3000€ - to cover any costs. (Maybe Shepherd and Goldie together?)

Strech Goals:
Every 2000€ a new Puppy will be unlocked. 


(I had loved to join the Doggust Event, but it wasn't possible, so have to do it on my own.)
Here's the Link to count in & being ready on Day 1 - when ever that is. ;'D

I'll also remake the Poll for the camaign, for the Strech Goal order.
Goldie & Shepherd will be the Intial Goal.
But for all the others I would like you to join the Poll, when it comes out.
Why a new one?
Actually, since the first one is over a year old and there are now far more followers & potential backers.
It will come out when I have more Puppy Pin Designs together that shows them.

And I've got an Idea for another surprise you might be interested in - but I have to calculate the costs first.
 



I don't have a specific start Date yet, but I already orderd 2 Prototypes:

New Manu, new Luck!
I used a different Manu the very first time, in 2025.
I thought it would be a good Idea to go with one of the bigger ones, but the first lil' something of a Prototype (yes, I know they can look strange the first time) wasn't even close. The second was better, but it never came to a third.
I think I know what went wrong, but they didn't answer anymore & the money was away too.
No, I don't think it was any bad attention, but for this Project I'll go another way.

And to be honest:
I'm kind of happy, it didn't work the first time.
I'm not saying this out of doubt, but I know that I've learned a lot from my current Pin projects, and I'm also in a much better place mentally than I was back then.
It just wasn't the right time.


1 Year later I carefully build up a few clear criteria for a new Manufacturer, also because I was looking out for one somewhere else than before.

I don't want to list everything here, and it sounds so obviously, but:
- Chatting with a real Person about the Project requirements, and NOT with a Bot or someone that may be a Bot.
- Seriousity and photos of real prototypes & from the Company.
- Cheaper Price but good Quality (Compared with the frist Proto-Puppy from '25 I got 2 for 1 here ;)
- Possibility to see what materials & colors are available & to choose from them.
-> They even easily agreed to ship both prototypes together, which saved some shipping costs.

Well... can't wait to see what comes out there...
They said the first fluffy Friend may be finished next week already - that's fast!
