I'm on the early notification system for FedEx parcels, and it told me on Monday that a label had been created for "Maximus Outdoors". I'm not expecting any outdoor equipment, and when I looked up that company name it directed to a pro-gun, pro-shooting ecommerce site run by a 13 year old entrepreneur. I started to worry that either an error had been made, or someone was attempting to harass or scam me!
When I entered the address for the company, to doublecheck it, it came up a warehouse with clients like M.O. and Shipmunk. That when I figured out it must be an early label creation for Daybreak. It would've been nice if FedEx had used the name of the shipper, Shipmunk, and not some random other warehouse client.
Even now, when it's been picked up and officially on its way to me, it still says it's coming from Maximus Outdoors. I'm sure that will suprise and potentially freak out more than just me, and doesn't seem like the association that an environmentally friendly game like Daybreak would like to have made.

I'm seeing the same thing!
That's so weird—we think this is a FedEx problem with their notification system. Had to pick somebody *at Shipmonk* rather than Shipmonk itself. We checked your external tracking though, and everything looks fine and doesn't have that identification on it. Sorry for the weirdness!

Thanks, Alex. That's the conclusion I came to as well. I figured I'd give a heads-up about it here since it was such a surprise. Thanks for checking on it!
