Hi,
I received my copy. Thanks.
Quite possibly there was a live winged queen ant in it as on removing the plain cardboard sheet there it was on the underside with unusually long antenna. An odd rough residue covered an area of the rulebook which could have be excrement. As I live in New Zealand border security is particularly important and while it would have been helpful to capture for identification I acted expeditiously.

Also, your choice of sticker seal while commendable sucks because the box ink/material could not have been matched/tested to this product...at all! I say this because regardless of how focused my attention I could not remove a single sticky label without removing the ink down to the card from at least one face of the box it had been attached to. I two cases the damage went down into the card. I hope that this is not acceptable to your team and these stickers will not be employed with this ink/card combination ever again Try having a conversation with Tim over at Weird City Games or Pangaia Games about their Forests of Pangaia as both their efforts at conscientious production, packaging, and distribution techniques were successful.
Wow that's strangeβthis is the first of anything like this we've heard. Could you send a photo if possible to [email protected]? Also dirty little industry secret: the reason why those stickers on other game boxes don't tear is because there's a plastic coating on them! We're going to decide whether we give in and do the same, based on everyone's feedback on this once we send the box survey.
