Stickers featuring global birds!

Mock up of Tree Swallow, Pink-necked Green Pigeon, California Condor, Boreal Chickadee, Pine Grosbeak, and Common Loon stickers.
I'm creating vinyl stickers of my favorite drawings from the 2025 Birdtober challenge! Birdtober is a daily creation challenge run in October and I drew 31 birds from around the world using pen and alcohol-based markers.

The initial goal will fund the printing costs for the Boreal Chickadee, California Condor, Pine Grosbeak, Pink-necked Green-Pigeon, Tree Swallow, and Common Loon designs.

Early Bird Incentive

Early Bird Incentive
If you back the campaign in the first 48 hours, you will get a free Turkey Vulture sticker! This a bonus drawing I did outside of Birdtober as a companion piece to the California Condor. The Turkey Vulture will be available as a sticker choice for all pledges, in case you miss the Early Bird Incentive.
Portrait of a Turkey Vulture

Turkey Vultures played a critical role in California Condor. Scientists studied captive Turkey Vultures to gain insights on how to rear condor chicks in captivity and how to tag and track released condors.

Get a Loon Sticker, Support Families in the Twin Cities!

Marker drawing of a Common Loon rearing up
This winter, Operation Metro Surge devastated vulnerable immigrant families in the Twin Cities. As an artist living in Minneapolis, I was heartened by how our community stepped up and helped support each other. Our State Bird became a symbol of our resistance and mutual aid efforts. I will be donating all proceeds after manufacturing costs from my Common Loon sticker and other loon products on my webstore to The Wilson Foundation, a rent relief fund to support those whose lives were most disrupted.

About the Birds

Marker drawing of a Boreal Chickadee

Boreal Chickadee: This diminutive specialist of Boreal coniferous forests is much more difficult for birdwatchers to spot than other more gregarious chickadee species.

Marker portrait of a California Condor

California Condor: The largest bird of North America faced extinction when the wild population fell to 22 in the 1980s. Thanks to enormous conservation efforts, there are now around 300 free-flying condors in the wild, but they are still critically endangered. Like all scavengers, condors are vital to the health of the ecosystem.

Marker drawing of a Pine Grosbeak

Pine Grosbeak: I chose Pine Grosbeak as the Artist's Choice prompt, as they are one of my favorite species found in Minnesota. These large finches are known for their irruptive migration, which are unpredictable, large-scale movements based on food availability rather than length of day. Pine Grosbeaks are relatively unafraid of humans.

Marker drawing of a Pink-necked Green Pigeon

Pink-necked Green-Pigeon: These sherbet-colored pigeons live in Southeast Asia and are important fruit seed dispersers. They have a unique bi-colored iris of vivid blue and pink.

Marker drawing of a Tree Swallow

Tree Swallow: These swallows are abundant across North America and nest in tree hollows or man-made nest boxes.

Marker drawing of a Common Loon

Common Loon: These elegant birds spend most of their life on water and can move like a submarine to catch fish.

I'm Annie, I’m a traditional artist and a huge bird nerd! Shipping and Fulfillment (US and Canada only)

If this campaign funds, you will receive a survey after it ends to choose your stickers and make any changes to your order. Once I have all of those, I will put in the sticker order. It will take 10-20 business days to print the stickers. Once I receive the stickers, I will package all the orders, which I estimate will take a week depending on my schedule. Then, the stickers will be mailed to you via regular post! I estimate delivery will be in July 2026.

Shipping and handling and sales taxes will be charged in the pledge manager before fulfillment.  For US orders, I estimate $1-2, plus sales tax. For Canadian orders, I estimate $2-6.

Other things you should know:

Communication:
I will send out updates on the project page about when the stickers are in production and when they’re ready to ship, or anything else backers may need to know.

Refunds:
I will grant full refunds for pledges within 30 days of the campaign's end date, no questions asked. After that, I cannot grant refunds and if you choose not to fill out your survey or pay shipping and tax on time, your pledged amount will be considered a donation toward the project.

Dates and deadlines will be made clear through campaign updates, and reminders will be sent on a regular basis throughout the post-campaign timeline to remind backers who haven't yet completed their surveys.

Fulfillment:
I estimate the stickers will be ready to ship by July 2026. Most of the orders will be delivered via USPS First-Class mail, and while there will not be tracking information available, the estimated delivery time is 1-5 business days.

Once fulfillment has begun, all remaining backers who have not yet filled out their surveys will have 30 days to complete and submit their surveys to receive their rewards. After that, any backers who have still not filled out their surveys and paid their shipping and taxes will have their pledges for physical items considered a donation toward the project.

Damaged or Missing Items, and Lost or Misdelivered Packages:
You have 30 days after your package arrives to report to [email protected] any needed replacement items for damaged or missing items in your order. If your order was damaged, you must include pictures of the damaged stickers and packaging. For packages that go missing, you have 45 days to report it after the item is sent (or 60 days for international packages) to have me resend or follow up on the items. Packages that are sent to an incorrect address as a result of an error in your entry will require you to pay for shipping the new package. You will be notified before addresses are locked and will have a chance to update your address until just before fulfillment begins. If your address changes, be sure to update your address in your survey.

Backers are responsible for providing correct and up-to-date email addresses on BackerKit, and for reading updates as they are made to keep informed about this information and the deadline dates. It is the backer's responsibility to follow up on their packages should problems arise.
