Hello! Still not Price, T again, but this time it’s because apparently folks like my updates and so I shall continue doing them until the privilege is revoked. Officially! And you know that means you all get memes featuring Isaac.

We’re in assembly! And drying still, but also assembly! There’s a lot of paper to dry and things to be put in the boxes, but it’s well underway. Packing into cases and containers is planned to start Thursday! This is too many exclamation points!

Some folks are always curious about how things are planning to be shipped so~ Each RPG Deluxe will come in its own carton, that's extra thick to be shipped as-is. It will also have foam on each side to cradle it on its journey across the world to you.

Certain parts within the Deluxe RPG set will also have foam or cardboard inserts to cradle and ensure nothing moves too much in shipping. They're designed to be removed by the end consumer, but you can keep them if you want cushion for your pushing the book into the box again.

Reminder for those rearing to get going on their campaign and/or character planning, Price linked the unfinished PDF back in December here. All backers of the RPG will get the digital PDF version after the team returns and recovers from SPIEL, likely early November. We want to make sure that we’ll be able to give our full attention to everyone when the PDF rolls out, and folks tend to get sick after SPIEL. (Europe, why do you disease us?)

We’re coordinating with a team to get a new actual play filmed and edited, but in the meantime have you watched this one featuring Isaac? And other really cool people but I figured you all would at least know Isaac, because we have those memes with him. Also, this one is filmed with the Penny Arcade crew and GM’d by the wonderful Alexander Theoharis. Oh! And it takes place in a Frosthaven setting!

All of the minis are being made! There was some confusion in the comments last week but when we say “Miniatures of Gloomhaven”, that’s just the name of the product line as a whole. ALL the minis are in production, for all products in the mini line, for all games, and will be making their way onto an ocean freighter in the next few weeks.

We were hoping to be able to get photos of the minis in the packaging for you all this week, but that’s still in progress. Because, and this is just an insider thing, the minis are produced at a different factory than the packaging and trays. So all the boxes have been printed and dried and then the minis, trays, and boxes were sent to a central location and are being hand assembled. That’s right - every mini is being hand-placed into its tray. It’ll be roughly 1.5 million miniatures being placed into trays for the fulfillment. 

1.5 MILLION. And that’s just for the campaign’s fulfillment. That.. absolutely puts my hundred of unpainted minis into a better perspective.

Anyway, they’re set to be ready and loaded onto ships in the next few weeks, likely while team Cephalofair will be at Essen SPIEL, or recovering from whatever EU-based cold strain we all catch.

And not to make you think we're not planning something fun for the minis, we're working on some tutorial videos and guides with some professional mini painters. So stay tune for that rolling out in the next few months!

Speaking of Cold

Frosthaven Digital is releasing! The game has been in early access with beta support and is now officially launching tomorrow. The 1.0 version will be pushed out at 9am EST, which translates to a bunch of different times around the world that the team at Arc Games has put into a lovely graphic:

For those attending Essen SPIEL NEXT WEEK, we’ll be at Hall 3R200. We’ll have the RPG there and you can sign-up to even play a session with Isaac! Pre-orders for pickup on new items are open until the 20th.

We’ll also have Mercenaries Wanted out for demo. If you missed it, pre-orders opened this week for Mercenaries Wanted for shipping and PAXU Pre-release pickup.

It’s happening! Pre-orders are absolutely shipping and shipping before any units are heading to retailers. So if you pre-ordered, anywhere in the world, you should get your copy before the retailers in your part of the world do. We’ve confirmed all warehouses and international partners have received their units and are in the process of shipping out pre-orders within their own fulfillment timelines.
