Sorry for the hiatus last week, we had a jetlag/con crude time coming back from Germany. Thank you to everyone that came by the booth to say hi and see the RPG! More on that below.

Let’s get into the update!

The RPG is loading into containers - and those containers are awaiting their ship date! Chris has OFFICIALLY booked our ocean freight for the RPG project and all will be loaded and picked up for the port within the next week.

We will be providing you with vessel names and tracking starting next update so you can keep tabs of your regions ocean freight. It's super riveting. Especially when there are "road events" like storms, pirates, and/or pirate storms (don't ask). 

We ran a couple sessions a day of the RPG while at SPIEL and folks had a great time. We had the book out for folks to flip through, as well as touch and play with the cards from a Deluxe RPG set we had overnighted to the show from the factory. The adventure you see in the photo is a print-out of a one-shot adventure we use at shows, but everything else is from the manufactured Deluxe RPG set, minus the minis, map tiles, and tokens that are from a Gloomhaven 2nd Edition we borrowed from.

With everyone back and recovered from SPIEL, we’re prepping a digital .pdf rollout of the core book to ALL RPG BACKERS! That’s right, if you backed the core book, in any form (e.g. Core Book, Deluxe Box Set, etc) you will also get a .pdf version distributed to you via the Backerkit Pledge Manager FREE of charge. We’ll have more specific details/instructions for you next update!

For those of you that can’t wait for that digitally locked email to hit your inbox, Price linked the unfinished PDF back in December here that you can absolutely still use to start building your characters and campaigns. 

No handy dandy print and play or digital version of the minis, sorry! But miniatures are officially in assembly! Packaging was received just before our team left for Essen Spiel and they came out so good The minis are being produced at a different factory in a different city than the RPG, so they’re going to be coming on a different ship across the ocean. It’s looking like they’ll arrive to their destinations pretty close to when the RPG containers will, so we’re hoping we can combine shipments.

The time has come for us to start building shipping lists. So this is your 2 week warning for the Pledge Manager closing! We’ll shut it off November 16th at 12p PST.

This is also your two week warning that we’ll be running all credit cards not already run on November 16th 12p PST.

You can change your shipping address yourself in the BackerKit system until we close the late pledge manager, on November 16th 12p PST. So please double check your address and fix it yourself if you need. Otherwise, you’ll need to email [email protected] for them to change it. We will have another address freeze “last chance to email us” closer to the fulfillment, which should be close to New Years.
